The Elite Dangerous servers are now live with the Panther Clipper update. This update introduces the long awaited Panther Clipper Mk II, alongside a range of fixes and improvements.

so does this mean the rear guns no longer clip the hull when firing cool also i like that they made it so the the clipper doesnt raise up a bit when srv is deployed because its got the head room for it to not though i think they didnt want it to raise and the ea one was an early ready build so the code and they just didnt apply the no lift code in the ea

Will the MKII Cargo Racks be available to purchase at stations without the purchase of the Stellar Panther Clipper?
I believe not.
They only work in the new special internals.

edit..Haha sorry, its been a long night, just read the question properly, I would have thought they would be available to buy in stations, otherwise there's no point in getting a Panther Clipper.

Important Notes here guys:
The MKII cargo racks are exclusive to the Panther Clipper
ONLY the Stellar version comes with them on the ship, the standard version does NOT
Thus my question: Do I really have to spend 20,000 more ARX just to have the MKII cargo racks or can I buy them at a station
My guess probably not because why would they add them for them to just be stellar only like the ship kit I get it's just cosmetic the Mark II cargo racks effect gameplay it's probably like how when you get the ship with arcs you can purchase more through shipyards that have it most likely they'll add it like that where the Stella gets it automatically through the pre-built but you can buy some at stations if they have it
 
Because I would rather spend 19,000 ARX and buy them at a station then spend 39,000 ARX to have them come with the ship. Literally more than double the price.

I would guess that the mk2 cargo racks would be stock for PC2..

Why would you buy them since Panther Clipper is the only ship that can use them?
You can store inside a Fleet Carrier, for example MK2 Fuel Tanks, if you have plans for a long trip in your Fleet Carrier, and buying it later.

I expect a discount for the Stellar version in the last months, that I can deploy anywhere, but I can't puchase MK2 Fuel tanks in the void. Its a extreme but valid case. I have plans for a PC2 AXplorer, so this is a option I don't want to lose.

We need info about Edmund Mahon 20% discount in cargo racks for the MK2 Cargo racks.

No previous Stellar package had unique items (with the exception of paint jobs), that would be the equivalent of pay to win.
Im sure they will be available to buy if you have the panther clipper, otherwise there would be no point in buying it yet.

I don’t believe there are Mk2 Fuel Tanks available. Only the Cargo Racks come as a Mk2 variant.
 
Did they say the clippers is the only one that can use them because that doesn't make sense why would they add an item that only one ship can use
Yes only the PC can use the +50% Cargo racks at the moment, its just like the luxury cabins for Saud Kruger ships, makes perfect sense as they are technically a special slot.
