Those aren't aiming marks. They're just the middle of the arcs. They don't point to anything.
I think they are aiming marks because they look just like that, and in the Type-9 and some other ships, but which ships, I don't remember right now, they align with the ship's longitudinal axis, so they are useful for piloting in those ships. So why not in the Panther Clipper as well?

If they don't point to anything, they could be arbitrarily moved. Moved to, say, the center of the arcs on the same horizontal line as the reticle...

The result of extra time being put into this ship to the point of justifying a higher price, clearly.

?...I've just checked at a Starport, it's working ok in my menu so I'm not sure why it's not working for you...:unsure:

Ship livery is working fine but the station livery (for redecorating your colonies) is borked for me too. Going in to the option just gives a window with a blank icon in it, but clicking on the blank icon then takes me into the normal station paint job screen.

Anyone figured out what the sweet spot is in terms of engines & powertrain & minimum shields for a hauler?

From my experiments (no engineering so far):
8D Thrusters are fine. Boosts up to 261 with 7D distributor, 245 fully laden.
6D Shield won't even protect against the most modest of bumps, but maybe better thrusters would have prevented me faceplanting on my carrier.

Confirming this. In Station customisation, just get a 'no icon' blank image. If you click it then all works as normal.
May already be fixed in maintenance today. Let's see

The 'dark' area in front of your ship when docked in your carrier's hangar is still there so it doesn't look like that graphical bug has been fixed yet (I did put a ticket in ).
The side hardpoints on the Panther Clipper (weapons shooting through the hull) seems to have been moved a bit further out and down a bit to the side the weapons seem to no longer fire through the hull?

The rear top hardpoints were moved before the PC2 released on Tuesday, after feedback from the Partner Previews the week before. It was in the original release notes.
 
PLEASE make it run cooler
The beast certainly runs warm on FSD engagement - the Panther is not one for scooping while charging the FSD.
A 51% heat increase from idle to FSD feels 'unusual'.
(5A PP G5 low emissions with heat spread, 7A FSD SCO increased range + fast boot with mass manager).

Mitigation measures of a hull peppered with heatsinks is proving effective.
There's plenty of utility mounts:cool:

Of course this might just be the contrast with flying the Cutter, which has pretty forgiving thermal characteristics.
