ACTIVE CG Brewer corporation calls for Trailblazer resupply

That's just how a proper trader thinks. Also never fly empty, even if it's just covering the fuel :)
And some have even advocated for being able to store the odd ton or two in the cockpit or corridors of their murderboat as they do not wish to sacrifice and slots that could be used for defensive purposes.

Don't know if that's been answered yet - but does selling CG commodities work as "sell for large profit" for LYR, i.e. give Merits in addition to CG contributions and cash?

You missed it. Thats not Fdevs fault.

I never suggested otherwise, just pointing out that they could have either extended those CGs or included the now-never-to-be-available-again* PJ in this one to allow for people that had other things going on that prevented them from being able to take to space.

* My only issue with this.

Sorry for the question, maybe it has already been written.

What level will they be? E?
I think they will be D, same as the size 7 and 8 cargo racks.

Er, where'd all the CMM Composites go? Inara is showing only the colonisation ships as having them, visited a couple of the stations listed in the screengrabs on the homepage and they don't exist there?
It's the colonisation ships that are supposedly short of them so it makes sense if none are there - after all, otherwise it would be a case of "robbing Peter to pay Paul", ie buying from one Trailblazer to sell to another! There are plenty of other places to buy them. I'll check the screen grabs and replace them with more accurate sources, at least at time of posting.

How does the 10x price work out? Is it 10x what we paid? Or 10x the galactic average whatever it is.

Cos if its 10x what we paid, imma sell some very expensive titanium from my FC.
10 x Galactic Average sell price.

I guess I will manage to stay in the top 75% too, but that's not the point. I don't like that a lot of players who weren't at the right time at the right place won't get a chance to get a clearly superior module.
They have four weeks to contribute which should be plenty of time to account for holidays etc. Ok, there may be a few who go away for a month or more, but not the majority. Some of us don't get away much at all (only the odd convention weekend LOL).

It is close to FOMO, but tbh, even if I still want to have Cobra Mk IV I am fine with that if sometimes I can catch something and sometimes not. It would be not unique if everyone has it.

Randomly decided to browse the forums for the first time in about 3 weeks. Honestly I am surprised by racks with +cargo capacity, but I was always hoping for engineered racks that allowed a small percentage more cargo and weighed a lot less when empty (they seem to be made of cast iron,) or specific uses - say increased capacity, but the extra can only do limpet storage. Yes, as as result of less of that corner cutting, we might end up with more ships capable of multirole, not sure if that is a bad or good thing.

I echo the sentiment although the recent CGs back to back have been interesting from a power standpoint, but here we are, back to hauling. Gameplay mechanics are always going to push us in the direction of hauling or combat, and as a result, is will be hard to make it feel like player input into a CG neither wasted or onesided.

That can be said about a bunch of other modules that are (arguably) more impactful than cargo racks of size 5 and 6 with 35% more capacity. Whether that is hardpoints or utility mounts. Or the class 5/6 corrosion resistant cargo racks [if there ever comes a need again to gather large amounts of Thargoid items].

And the CG is very clear you CAN just drop a single contribution and get one of each anyway, rather than needing to reach 75% for anything other than a credit reward at all. Whether it’s a good or bad thing a 75% placement offers an extra one for each size, I can’t say. But also don’t think it’s a massive deal breaker…
Just so there's no misunderstanding, neither did I say these new cargo racks were the worst "offender", nor did I say it were a massive deal breaker.

Replaced the screen shots for CMM composites, 2 for medium pads, min 500 supplies, 2 for large pads, min 1,000 supplies. Or, of course, you could go to Inara and select your own requirements. :)

I'll sign up just for the size 5 rack because that'll fit nicely into my Cobra 5 miner.

Still not a fan of Frontier's determination to keep introducing superior modules with no apparent downsides that make the original versions essentially obsolete, creating more and more needless outfitting bloat that will confuse the heck out of new players for no good reason.

Ah well...that's the thing about ongoing support for the game, what to do about basically obsolete parts of the game caused by new features.
For example...the 'rare' goods like Lavian brandy etc. etc....have they any use in the game anymore?....perhaps.

Jack :)
