Well they'll be different... the orbital station will get a boost from the planetary port based on the host body's economic overrides. But based on the numbers given you're likely going to miss out on liquid oxygen, surface stabilisers and semiconductors. You're definitely going to miss out on insulating membranes and tritium.
Greetings, commanders. I've got another question. I'm planning to build another asteroid base in my system. Is it possible to build it on orbit of a moon without rings? The moon has geologicals and volcanism, even though it's a rocky one. I might even put 1 extraction settlement + 1 extraction hub on the surface. Thus, I could avoid idustrial economy but only if it's possible to place an asteroid base there.
I read somewhere (probably Cmdr Mechan's manual) that only asteroid belts and rings are valid locations for asteroid bases, but when I'm looking through architect view and try to place it there the only thing that is stopping me is lack of CPs.

Only rings and asteroid belts. Once you get the CP it'll just change the warning to invalid location as the validation isn't done until right at the end.
Just out of curiosity has anyone tried producing a negative economy. for example a Coriolis orbiting an icy world with say two weak agriculture links would theoretically have -.3 agriculture economy. Or do negatives not exist I'm curious if that would increase demand the further negative it went.
The information I have is that a link cannot go below .1 in strength.
A different question (but related to economy building). Say I have a terraformable high metal content world with biologicals, but also geological signals, and it is tidally locked. I was going to build agriculture on it, but I’m not sure now if it makes as much sense now seeing the tidal lock factor that would at best be cancelled out by bios.
And then still having to contend with the obnoxious forcing of planet influence until (if) we ever are able to force a bypass through specialization or choose to turn it off… especially with the super-boosted Extraction… well, I am not sure if I’d be able to compensate even when 7 planetary building slots are present. Plus I haven’t seen any indication whether the terraformable status of the planet boosting agri works yet (or whether the wording was sneakily removed by Frontier in-game and nobody noticed).
Many people have accidentally made them. Demand tends to be higher than production so mixing the major economies can remove most if not all the goods from the markets.
Weak links aren't affected by boosts/reductions at all.
I built a commercial outpost in the orbit of a Water World (with volcanism and a ring) and added 2 Space Farms (T1). A system with Pristine Reserves. According to my calculations, the economies at the station should be: Tourism = 1.40, Extraction = 1.80, Agricultural = 2.20. But Inara shows that I have Agricultural = 3.00, the rest match the calculations.
I would like to understand what I missed before designing the system further.
Each Space Farm (T1) gives 0.80 instead 0.40? Is Inara wrong? I don't know what else to assume.

Water worlds boost agriculture.
Ag override from planet: 1.0 + 0.4 boost = 1.4
Ag from farms = 2 x (0.4 + 0.4 boost) = 1.6
Total Ag: 3.0
Ag override from planet: 1.0 + 0.4 boost = 1.4
Ag from farms = 2 x (0.4 + 0.4 boost) = 1.6
Total Ag: 3.0
Why WW boosts Space Farms?
I don't see such information in list of boosts, except that WW boosts itself, but it was taken into account by me.
- Boosts:
- If the Body has Organics (also known as Biologicals) (+0.40) for High Tech, Tourism and Agriculture - the type of Organics doesn't matter
- If the Body has Geologicals (+0.40) for High Tech and Tourism - the type of Geologicals doesn't matter
- If the Body is Terraformable (+0.40) for Agriculture
- If the Body has Volcanism (+0.40) for Extraction - the type of Volcanism doesn't matter
- If the Body is an Earth Like World (+0.40) for High Tech, Tourism and Agriculture
- If the Body is a Water World (+0.40) for Tourism and Agriculture
- If the Body is an Ammonia World (+0.40) for High Tech and Tourism
Boosts apply to any and all strong links which are present on a body, which seems to include planetary influence as well. But so, building a space farm around a water world will see a link it creates to an orbital station boosted.
Read the in-game codex (and ignore the bit about terraformables because it's a lie).

Does the value of these coefficients matter? If we theoretically have only one economy, will the value of 0.10 influences in a different way than 5.00? The amount of supplies, the replenishment rate, anything?
More is more. Higher demand higher supply. 1 is 100% of a standard market for that population. 2 is 200%. for most cases the difference between 1 and 5 is academic you can't use all the resources if you tried.
