Illu, another £50..? I've stopped at the £100 mark, can't justify anymore though would be good to be founding member of the elite. Certainly wouldn't raise another £50'to get a game a little bit earlier in a more basic form, ultimately you'll have it forever from Jan next yr anyway

Yep am mad!!! £200! lol.......just couldn't face reading the forums while others are trying out the game in whatever state its in! funny Mark just upped to Founder today, but think he will stay at that one.

The way i look at it is that it will probably be the only game i will play for some time(maybe one other that looks interesting...Watchdogs) so i dont tend to spend much on anything else.

Expansions..... and Founder levels are well worth having though(limited) although still plenty left which i wouldn't be surprised get snapped up nearer game release..maybe?) and particularly if the game goes on for many years with extra missions/perks.

But no more upgrades for me def this time! :)

You will resist to the temptation of DDF ? Especially that DDF continue after the first version of the game ...

For me personally Founder level is enough. I've now got to start thinking seriously about hardware... the budget keeps creeping up as the temptation of just going for something a bit better hits.

Alpha, I can live without... the advantage is only a month. As for the DDF, I've seen the archives and unless I win the lottery and can afford to retire, I simply don't think I've enough spare time to commit to it. It's also quite a big jump cash wise.

Having looked at a lot of the DDF archives, I am content they are making sensible choices, I doubt my single input would change anything significantly, and like insanephoton I just don't have the time. I'm concerned enough where I will find the time to play this game let alone help shape it. Also, I would like a lot of the features and threads to be a surprise and I imagine there would be a number of spoilers being in the DDF, especially post release.

Agree with Mark and Gav on the DDF, not enough time(barely have time to read the Archives!)
and its a significant jump money wise to DDF.
No am in my happy place now with ED, like others gonna save pennies for a brand spanking new computer set up, and a really soft comfortable chair that i plan to spend many many hours playing ED in! ;)

This fall, my wife gave me a part of the money needed to buy a comfortable chair. Leather upholstered backrest, rocking function (like a rocking chair), adjustable height, and there are wheels =)
I love it. However, for three months in our home lives two kittens, and the chair began to appear signs of their claws... Have to cut their nails, or sew for them gloves for paws...
Cost seats about 125 dollars.

Chair looks nice and soft and rocking motion would be great... and yes i have the cat problem to! lol

Actually if i could have your seating but with padded arms that would be great, your chair looks more comfortable and nice shape.

The one am looking at is below, sorry poor image, like your one but i think this has softer arms(padded)
I tend to lean to my left on arm chair while browsing, and after awhile arm is sore! so padded everything would be great.....however playing ED i imagine i will need both arms working franticly to get me out of many many scrapes that i get myself into! so might not be a problem ;)

Well, I lean to the left arm, and am feeling no pain in his elbow. Even more, I like to build on the solid foundation if the handle is soft, then maybe it's not enough to give me a solid footing.
In any case, before buying to try to sit on a chair in a shop in different poses (best to try a chair on friends home, if possible)

Perfect pic! lol nice

Yeah agree best to try out chairs in shop, everyone has different preferences, like a bed you have to move around and bounce all over! ;)

Try a friends chair out? So i will be around to try your chair out about 4pm ok? where do you live Russia? i better start the car up and move :p ..............

For the takeoff, I will use this kind of armchair. But only for the takeoff. The "zero gravity" position is adopted by NASA astronauts during the firing takeoff. This posture allows the alignment of the heart, the legs and the back to cause a total and immediate relaxation and a remarkable reduction in stress.
