Eventure, I just remembered a little problem I ran into last night, I haven't tried it in the newest version so if you already fixed it ignore this. ;)
On the Trade information screen there is this part with best sell location and for me the different stations showed up as numbers and not the real name as they did before.

If this is too unclear I'll take a screenshot next time I'll play.

My whole TCE folder gets wiped each time there is an update!

Just dont put the TCE folder inside Elite's folder structure? They might clean their folders from unknown (not their) files on every update.
There is no reason to put TCE inside your ED installation path, you can run it from everywhere on your machine...

So all these posts saying put it here or put it there and I don't need to. I had enough difficulty getting it working without all this and wasted hours putting it in different folders getting it to work and now you say this. I like this a lot when I can get it working so please, please can we have some decent clear instructions rather than have to read through nearly 700 posts that evidentially do not give the correct info. Sorry but that is just wasting time and makes me a bit mad.

hi got the latest update installed, when I run a ocr in the market with debug on I get an error Image too small minium market required 1085px , given 806

Hi Eventure, trying again (gave up last week) but still Runtime Error 9 (and sometimes switches my Excel to German? After running it my Control Panel language settings move from English US to Pick from List, and Elite Bulletin Board switches to German!) Appreciate any advice please. Thanks!

EliteOCR needs a minimum of 1050p, or 1085px as i read. What is your screen resolution in Elite?

Looks like a database problem. Try the last working backup of TCE.mdb, or get a new from full-version.

RE: Best sell info... only one part has been fixed, best buy location has the same issue still, whereas best sell is fixed (or vice versa lol, not in front of PC with tce atm)

Also, another small thing which may be noteworthy... When installing (or unzipping) a fresh copy of TCE, I have to go to file properties for TCE.xlsm and all files in the TCE\DB\ folder and unblock it

If I don't it usually results in runtime errors or failure to start properly until I do.

Please do not install it deep into the installation of Elite, because every update FD checks, if there are unwanted files, that dont have to be there. All unwanted files are deleted. Thats not a problem of TCE. My installation of TCE resides in D:\Elite Dangerous\TCE. All fine here. My suggestion is to install TCE, like any other software, in a root folder of a drive. I make a note at the main page.

There is no option to select. Its in the code.

Thats to low for EliteOCR. You should have a minimum of 1680x1050.

Unblocking??? Hmm..., could it be a security issue with you Excel version?

Try the following steps and check if it help:

1. Open Excel 2010/Excel 2013.
2. Click on File > Options.
3. Select Trust Center > Trust center settings.
4. Select Protected view.
5. Uncheck all the options under Protected View > OK.
6. Try to open TCE without unblocking it.

Hi again, Sorry to bug you about it but I have looked and not found the solution yet.

Yesterday I asked for
a way to change the resolution or shrink the windows so that they will fit on my second screen.
There is no point moving them there if I can only see a small piece of them.

and you answered :

Panel zooming is always active, but referring to your primary monitor at start.


I'm sorry but I could not find a Panel Zooming option or reference in any of the files or in the options.


You say that it is optimized for 1920x1200 and that is the resolution of my main display but as you can see in this screenshot, even the main controls do not fit completely in my main screen !
On the right side, I am missing Cartography, Trade Scout and half of the Commodity button !

you also say that all other resolutions work but if I set one of your popup window position so it appears on my second screen, witch is sadly limited to 1366x768
it will move there all right but I'll be missing anything that doesn't fit in the screen with (as far as I can find) no way to re size it !
