Michael answered it on the second page.

I'm sure Sarah Jane said that the changes applied to NPC ships as that was the main point of the changes. The amount of damage they can take is dependant on weapons and how much they like/dislike you. I don't do enough fighting to know for sure, but I'd suggest raising a bug report if you can hit an NPC with 1 shot and then you get a bounty

Nope i'm heavily allied to federation ships and one slight hit and everyone turns on me.
It simply doesnt work or if it does it's designed to be next to useless

And this has changed how? Seriously can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. Surely if you've been playing long enough to own an Anaconda, you know well that paintjobs have always been paid.

Learn to read dude, these paintjobs are FREE already in game except the ones for the Anaconda that will come later and u HAVE to pay for.

I dont mind paying Money for paintjobs but then EVERYONE should, not just Anaconda owners..

Or they could just fix the stupid friendly fire design
As it stands it's immersion breaking and forcing players to inconvinence themselves more then they already have to for the game is just a moronic decision.

Is it too much to ask that warnings get sent by npcs that persistent firing will result in a bounty, have it apply to npcs as well so i'm not forvever picking up wanted people who only have 400 bounty

The "friendly" fire system was overhauled with the 1.2 patch. Don't be so abusive there's no need for it, especially when I bet you aren't allied with these NPCs you're hitting, in which case it's not friendly fire you're talking about at all. Why should the NPCs have to warn you that if you keep shooting them you will get a bounty lol, crazy.

2. I bet you 1000 Palladium that 1.3 will not be released on 19th of May or any day before that.

I'll take that bet.

I personally expect it to be released on 12th May due to the information we've already received (intended 6 week Mac beta with eventual crossplay testing). In order for them to encourage PC users to test the crossplay functionality there needs to be an incentive for PC users to come to the beta rather than play the live game. What better reason than to have the Powerplay beta starting on 5th May, 5 weeks into the Mac beta? It's killing 2 birds with one stone.

They have done.

If you try to use a docking computer to land at a station that you are wanted at, then you are crazy :D Fines do not make you wanted

No i'm not wanted at the station at the time.

But friendly fire happened that made me wanted before i got to the station.
I try and dock at a station to pay the fine off only to be scanned and blown up for a friendly npc that got in the way of me being attacked by a wanted npc before hand.

The 200Cr fine (not bounty unless you don't pay it for 24 hours) is not from a stupid NPC flying in front of you, but for a stupid CMDR not using his scanner to see that an NPC is about to fly in front of him.
Are you sure? I was bounty hunting at an RES in Ananke with my cobra, and got a 200Cr bounty. I can't remember but I thinking I was scanning a pirate. Might not have finished scanning, was a bit sleepy.....

Wait what? Where did it say they were free in the notes? I had no problem paying for paintjobs for my Clipper and Vulture, but I can't see where it states free... *goes back to read through thread*.

I believe that it's the minor faction that the level of affiliation relates to rather than Federation/Empire, but I could well be wrong. If what you say is true then I would file a bug for it, because I'm sure that's not what it should be doing.

I was allied with the faction i only clipped once
The system may have been overhauled but it sure as hell does not work.
1 shot because something suddenly zoomed in from nowhere in the time i'm not looking at scanners and suddenly its green to red.
Does not make sense in the slightest

- Added vibrant paint jobs for all ships except Anaconda (available for purchase from the store soon)

I think it means the added paint jobs will be available in the store soon, and the added paint jobs are for all ships bar the Anaconda
Not that all ships get the vibrant paint jobs for free except the Anaconda which will be paid for via the shop

Apply the clause in the parentheses to the subject "vibrate paint jobs" not Anaconda

Fix the whole friendly fire issue before making it harder for wanted players to clear their name, that's common sense.

no fix for the vulture cockpit then and fix the modules on NPC ships, I like to play with my food, hitting the power plant everytime is just boring.

Nothing says YOU have to target the powerplant if dont like it.

Why do people always want to complain about something that they can choose to do/use or not? Let people that do continue, if don't like it don't do it.

My vulture doesn't hit the powerplant EVERY time now.

And here we were hoping for more content for exploration already hidden in the statistics :/

Bubble burst here too.
We went from "not implemented yet" to "always been there, just not shown" in an instance.
What happened to "exploration and mining are just the bare minimum of what we want it to be"...stated just before release ?
Does that still hold true ?

All good. Any indication on the size of the download files for this patch, please?

Thanks in advance

Jon

Itas a long arguement but what is "immersion breaking" about some one getting upset because YOU shot them. Next time police in your local town are on patrol or arresting someone ans shoot a peashooter at them and claim it was "friendly" see how "immersion brekaing" it is then

As much of the Army Navy and Airforce will attest to

Freindly Fire isnt
