Irony squared.
Thank you
Irony squared.
Steam has a very large user base, it is good that the game is there, brings more visibility and resources.
Also, while there are surely lots of idiots there, there are also lots of fine fellas that enjoy complex games, and that won't be bothered by negative reviews made by 12 year old kids that can't even write intelligibly.
More than that, Steam does not hold a monopoly on idiocy - there's a number of very ancient forum members that behave just the same or worse, both in bashing and white knighting.
I salute our new Steam CMDRs, and sincerely wish they enjoy the game and be a part of the mostly nice community for many years to come.
ED Backers should have been given a STEAM KEY prior to release to offset the " I can't, I don't understand" crowd
The Steam forum is kind of cute. Like that loveable but slightly 'special' cousin who you can get to do amusing things with just the right encouragement.
Visit steam ED forum and let the rage flow through you. If it does not, you will ascend and become a saint.
Yeah man, Steam..... its like a lot of hot air.
I agree with you somewhat, the steam release was a little hasty, but good games shouldn't require you to read a before playing.
I've been around this place for quite some time, I can assure you, Steam isn't any worse than this place.
Here Are The Actual Steam Reviews
What they reveal is that this thread is actually a showcase of straw-manning, hasty generalization and psychological projection, rather than a rational assessment of the Steam community, or anything else, for that matter.
No need to blame an outgroup for negativity.
There's plenty of it right here.
Yeah as a person who wanted this, bringing it on steam forced my hand. I went in fully thinking its be like dark souls but in space and I'm kinda right. Sadly the masses on steam don't have a brain between them. Many believe the game is an early access game.
It's not FD's fault that most steam users seem to be special snowflakes.
