Interesting reading. But a surprise, not ? : "The Xbox One version was still at an early stage when I went down to Frontier, but I glimpsed some new content coming to Xbox One at launch that will make the PC crowd jealous, even though it's only a timed exclusive." ---------------- What is this new content ?

Yeah, this was mentioned already some time ago. I was a bit surprised about Michael's comment that they haven't fully succeeded in running ED on XBO yet. I guess it takes some optimization con-fu to get it done.

Would like to point out that news just dropped that Mac and Linux support for Oculus is on freeze. So Mac players - especially those with powerful rigs looking for VR action - are in a bit cold atm.

I suspect they're experiencing mild corporate panic after the Valve VR stuff went down so well. They can't noodle around with the technology forever if there are other big players approaching market.

Your right; this is the problem for the public with many tech type 'corporate execs'; they need to be pushed. (We) just have to be patient.

If anybody is able to understand czech, very nice and interesting talking about universe (not only) in Elite: Dangerous with well known czech astronomer and astrophysicist Jiri Grygar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6XhfMFvoig

He also reviewed there how accurate things in Elite universe are and he liked especially how stars/suns and other things are accurate (and in opposite, he really doesn't liked how Mercury in Sol looks and some other few things). Also, as he never played any single game, he seemed to like how this game popularize astronomy and science... ;)
