Yeah but with all the bugs we had before 1.3 that have yet to be fixed as well as those that were added they needed to concentrate on being more stable here before expanding to the other platforms. Add to that the fact it was said in the next few months things will be happening with PC and Mac makes 1 believe they are gonna be spending the near future on getting the console developed instead of giving the PC players what we funded

Wow, that was a train wreck from the start. You could see DB before he was supposed to step out, then he stepped out way too soon, the music may as well have not been played at all at that point, then the long, awkward pause. Then he made a big no-no by staring at the ground as he spoke. At least he didn't go running off stage during that short speech, so F+ :D

God bless him, though. I've given bad speeches before so I know the feeling. About that pause- like someone said, there were probably technical issues with his headset. But that's why you always prepare for a speech like you won't have anyone talking in your ear, because you might not.

DB is a good guy. I really feel for him and hope this doesn't happen again. You'll get it next time, David!

You know it's highly likely that they have more than 1 development team. You know, one for PC, one for MAC and one for XBOX. All working together to create the vision that DB has for this game.

It just sucks we are kept in the dark about this game ED. Are they even working on the DLC or expansions whatever they are called. What are we missing so far from the game that they said they would add with the expansions. I know planet landing was one. Walking around ships and stations. Plus other ships.

The sectioned off space location will be the first big expansion, then walking around ships, then planet landing. I bet it will be 3-4 years before planet landing ever happens. A year for opening up locked space areas. 2-3 years for walking around ships and stations. I bet at the end of 2016 a large amount of people that are playing elite will change over to SC.

I know they wanted to do these things, but what stage are they at?

At least with Star Citizen you know because they give out detailed updates on everything

First they hyped a big reveal at e3. Then they revealed Xbox One CQC beta. Then he showed up to the PC Gaming Show, and instead of previewing something Elite related we get Planet Coaster which even if it was the best roller coaster tycoon simulator ever it isn't even out until 2016.

We still don't know what 1.4 will hold for us but at this point it's looking more and more like 1.4 will be CQC and the PC game is going into maintenance mode with just bug fixes and no content for the summer. I'd like to be wrong about this please.

All it takes is one post .. "We are working on features for Elite Dangerous on both PC/Mac and XBox, all platforms will have the same features ... such as ..."
No need to give dates, or specify the order they are being worked on or released in. Just add a disclaimer, and I doubt anyone who isn't a troll, would see any problem with that.

The big E3 announcement for me was nothing to do with XB1s, Rollercoasters, or Awkward Dave - it was the reveal that Shenmue 3 is happening.

They have blatantly stated they have 3 teams that they admit to working on pc Mac and Xbox. You just gotta read...
