The Faction weapons fiasco was so predictable.Nonetheless, I'm kind of enjoying it.

A quick tactical analysis of that command can be read as it says.
It will stop progress,
it will sabotage progression,
it will get systems which are heavily contacted by hostiles and
will get undermined by real tacticians instantly.
- In the background you are preparing LUGH, FAN YIN, MEHUDI which will be 3 stations to take a serious impact and we consider this sabotage.
You kick down projects like Simyr, Lumbla and Polecteri which are all started by the team who is opposing this command in reddit. - So yes, you have started to oppress your power. Which in case it continues will transform into teams who will jump to other power to get you down. - Our team provided CC/W capital to winters so we can fix the situation.
And now we face determined sabotage from inside to put our project down. - Are we going to smile, or to be angry? Pick a guess.
If you keep doing this long enough and giving commands which clearly is to damage some parts of the power , you are playing politics.

Next step is to see the results, which means we will have to take a choice to stay with your sabotage or turn the cards around and fight your sabotage. Now we are trying to do that in friendly terms, but looks like we can not continue it with friendly terms and .. We have to take a tactical choice starting to oppose you with other power. That is not threatening, that is causal result of your "commanders" in reddit.
We did not flame your options, we gave our analysis over the situations and got flamed for it. - Well, you don't have to agree with the analysis, we do not need to agree with your action. - Therefore we are now looking at options which suit the best of our situation. - Those are to maintain our project against your sabotage, or to jump sides and give our project to opponents .. which will lead to .. you know exactly...

This power play is absolutely a mess until we have a clear system how to organize it. - Reddit is not that. Even less 3rd party websites which offer admin who votes until the battle is over.

You've no clue about the powerplay mechanics and complain about the people doing the research and try to find a way to deal what FD throws at us. How about you do some research yourself before posting constantly some nonsense everywhere ?
Yes, there are people trying to find a way, try to organize themselves, try to put things together and it's rather frustrating that some people like you know everything better. Nothing we can do against your sabotaging work, really, as our numbers are thin. But comming with strategies working in Go or Chess aren't helpfull at all because PP is different.

And that's where the "one pilot, one ship"-phylosophy fails. It's ok for a single player game (like Skyrim is a "one man and one set of weapon/armor") but does not offer any real gameplay for a multiplayer platform.
The one pilot hangs around in his one ship telling the mantra himself that he is not a hero, he has no effect on the galaxy at all and actually he is so insignificant that he can watch the grass grow but not allowed to touch.
What a rich gameplay lies is this phylosophy in multiplayer, LOL
FD really took the hobbits to Isengard with this.
For balance it should fire in over, slowly filling the cockpit with confetti.
Face it, we are all too stupid to understand FDs Creative Vision.........The Single Player Multiplayer Game, where the MMO "Community" Goals are best played on your own and in Solo mode.......it might make sense to me one day, but I need to get some face time with the Krell plastic educator machine first.......I went to what should be Altair IV, but no joy.........

Why don't you simply leave the power, and go join a different one? I've been playing pledged to Winters for 4 weeks and have never felt ordered around but the reddit has been useful for tactical planning and explaining how the PowerPlay mechanics do work (and people have put a lot of good effort into working that out).
I had a great night with Winters commanders yesterday, but it was all entirely through some information posted up and people offering to help - no orders whatsoever.
So if you're that unhappy with how the rest of us are organising things (which I think is fairly meritocratic and actually without a clearly defined leadership) then just join another power. I think it's fairly clear that a lot of Winters commanders disagree with your tactical analysis but surely we're entirely free to do that?
Your problem really is that we're not following your leadership because in a very real sense I don't think the Winters reddit group really has a defined leadership. We just think that the analysis posted by other members of the group is significantly more inline with reality.
I have to admit I find it amusing and a bit troubling that some people seem to have installed themselves or claim to be leaders for a power. The subreddits are just that and I think some people have a megalomania complex
They miss their guilds bless them.
If you read the Winters reddit I think you'll find that that's very far from the case. I've argues strongly against guilds in the past on this forum but have asked for better comms for PP players. There's not really anyone currently proclaiming to be a leader and no orders or requirements from members (the "orders" post is still just a list of the most tactically useful actions and if you read it that's pretty clear).
This thread has been posted by someone who wants people to do what he says and is upset that most of us have decided that there is a better way tactically for the power.
*nods* Kind of, indeed. And this will be a big problem in the future. It always ends bad when you have no chance to seperate different types of players. In other games you have guilds, corporations, cabals and whatnot to seperate your group from others, with like-minded people. Everyone can access the same content, but at what pace and with what goal is totally up to the various groups. Here, you just have that one content (which in general is fine), and one "big guild" with more or less people that don't add up in terms of thoughts. "Nerds" will always feel their work beeing sabotaged by the ones that do what they want, without caring for the bigger picture. The ones that simply want to play the game the way they like, feel beeing harassed by the "nerds".
It simply doesn't work. In other games, as soon as a guild reaches a critical mass of different player types, it would break appart. I have seen that more than once. Here? No chance, at least as long as you want to play PP. So right now, we just have one boiling pot that will, given enough time, create more and more of a toxic environment.

FW you can count y3k/over1000 as much you like, but nobody has ever prooven that formula to be correct. It is like a shotgun shot, it has spread and probably some of it hits.
Count me out.
I am not going to support FW side any longer. I will take my weekly bonus and then change power. I guess time has come to melt the snow and enjoy the summer time.
