As I have said elsewhere, I too would not necessarily be against it in principle, however i do hope it is a LARGE hit in your profits from it (and not just 5% as suggested by another poster, I am more thinking 50% at least). IMO the incentive should always be there to do the leg work yourself. I do not think encouraging you to claim your own bounties is bad at all...... the main bad thing right now for me is not being able to wipe them without blowing up your ship.
Also (and i really do not know this) can we now see on the map where we have bounties for? I am very careful now in making a note of all bounty notes that are not obvious so i know where to go and cash them in, due to not having a clue ages ago where to go and redeem them (this was a pita) however there are more icons now on the galmap so am wondering if this particular issue has been resolved now?.
And sticking with "lore" is NOT a bad thing at all again imo...... however you are right at the moment however in that the lore is not consistent.
we cant transmit data on exploration and bounties over their air as there is no instant communications however there is a KWS and also there will be CQC and both of these presumably use some form of instant / FTL comms.
I agree, 50% cut is fair. Maybe unsactioned outposts would buy them off you for a 50% cut, that way you can chose is the trip worth the money. Right now I have a 1K bounty for a system over 200 Ly's away. I'd be happy for an abandon button to be honest.
You can't see on the map where you have bounties, and it's not always obvious where the factions are even located. This is something else I would love to see added.
You're right on the lore, you should stick to it as much as possible, but sometimes game design and fun play is more important.
