Does it really make that much difference if you take out SCBs and increase shield recharge rates?
I struggle to understand the absolute certainty behind the logic of many of these nerf this buff that threads.

The point is that SCB represent in-combat-healing, which many do not want to see at all.
Combat with SCB just feels long, it actually isn't. It's one step forward, one step back - until someone runs out of SCB.
Compare this to actually long PVP games, like Starcraft. Starcraft games can easily take 20 minutes, but the gameplay constantly shifts and changes. No one would confuse a 5 minute timing push with a 200 supply battle at the 15 minute mark. But if you were to jump into any random PVP fight, you'd have no way to tell how long that fight has been going. All you see is shields going down and back up. Might have just started, might already be going for five minutes.
And I wish people would stop bringing up CZs. Those are bandaid content that will hopefully disappear in favor of real content in the future.
