Um this proves something else I think because Rizal said about spotting an UA convoy while following haslsy's route.....also trying to stick to the facts that are know I'm struggling to see the UA be more than a beacon or computer core of some sort....but then the answer comes as to how we're meant to use it....or we're just meant to post in galnet that the UA is that...

We can assume this has nothing to do with the feds specifically and that the UA may not have had anything to do with SS1.

It really doesn't answer anything though. Still, great find. Definitely blows the doors off older assumptions.

Is... is there a mod editing the posts? I'm seeing some strange things with the post count on this thread haha maybe I've been in the conspiracy mind set too long.

(In all seriousness the post count is dropping once in a while, specifically by 13 posts in the past 10 minutes)

What if the purrs are containing data as well? Something like a message, and the key to solve it is to create an alphabet out of the sounds which we already do have!

Where is the video then? I might be able to get something out of it. People said before the other video doesnt show anything and clearly it is doing something.

Hopefully we find one on the 9th and we will do a full test on this and record it on purpose.

It seems to me that the whale sounds are an indication to the beginning and end of a sequence. By overlapping the way I described it in my previous post in Audacity, it seemed to me that there was a "pattern". Of course, anything has a pattern for an ignorant like me haha.

Why don't we stick to the "have you listened to them?" post and just listen to them through the whole sequence, from 100% to 0%, record the audio and analyze it? The purrs are maybe a complete sentence. Well, somebody has probably already tried that as well I guess...

Congrats to Redeye btw, but sometimes I wonder if we're really supposed to take it from the T9 haha.

Mystery after mystery. Also noticed this since a long time.

After watching the video:
- Landing pad! Clear to see ... Sorry for CMDR Derthek.

For other CMDR's: Same can happen with hardpoints deployed and a middle weapon slot is in use (Python as example, my preferably failure sometimes ... :D)

No need to twist, the opposite side has them lined up.

The UA only had 1% on my screen, the twich video displays the wrong health. I had nothing to do with the UA destruction. It timed out when we were in 3rd person mode. Here's the proof:

just to note, the UA had 28% before activating 3rd person mode @ 9:40

then it still had 28% at 10:29 when exiting third person

this is completely impossible, and on my screen the UA only had 9% before I tried to scoop it again (it was stuck inside Redeye's shield and my ship wouldnt let me get any closer) it seems like exiting 3rd person mode may give a false display of health, just showing its health before. could be an instance sync issue.

the recorded video of the destruction shows nothing. (recorded from inside the python, not 3rd person mode and too far away from the UA)

on a slightly positive note i did get to see a close up of the UA naturally dying :D its spores are all over my windshield

I noticed this later haha I thought we solved it with the morse! Then a quick search proved it's always allaigned

Indeed! There's no point to having your landing gear down while scooping. You can't boost with the Cargo scoop out any way.


My landing gear was mistakinly down as I tried to save the UA at the last 9% and I forgot to raise them. The UA died before I was less than 30 meters from it.

I can only imagine what Redeye thought as his screen still showed 28% haha poor guy

Wow those are some great shots :D

The last vid @2:30 you can see the UA has 28% health
Then a full minute later @ 3:30 the UA is still at 28% health

Where as I saw only 9% @ at 3:30 it's strange


Please don't think I rammed the UA to death. I really did try to save the poor thing. I'm sorry Redeye it was my stupid test. When Redeye began to move I backed away from the UA so he could grab it. When I saw it had 2% I tried the scoop. It died before I could get close enough.
