@ Tony H and anyone else interested in possible encryption in the UA's sound

Nice idea. There's lots of purrs data here to try out your ideas on, and maybe something there will give you some other ideas too. I've spent some time on this too, but nothing of use so far.

My tuppence worth: I think it's worth trying out ROT 13 on the possible binary of the purrs. Or Base 12 (UA has 12 thingamies and Thargoids supposedly use b12). edit: Also, base 6 is worth trying (six legs=insectiod) because it would fit nicely with a 26 letter alphabet.

My sig "ua files" the audio for io.mp3 is a particularly fine example.

Tho io_10.mp3 might make life a bit easier.

Tony, might I suggest you concentrate on getting a quality binary series. Let us come up with crack pot theories and do the 'translation' ourselves.

I will be looking to split the series into 3 numbers (coords), others can apply octal, rot, romantic numerals, etc

Sounds good Domarraa, need to work one a good LONG recording, see if a letter pattern emerges.

About the UA:
All that binary purrs decoding was already done deeply. There is a huge thread on Reddit about it: search for UA Breaktrough and you will find a large amount of data and research already done and left there, cause it lead nowhere.
But if tou want to do it again on the light of our new discovers, you are welcome! I support it. And applying Rot13 could be interesting...

Alright new trailer discussion time... so I attempted to hear the radio chatter over and over and try and see if there are any clues. Seems like the mundane flight related lingo is loud and clear. It's the inbetween stuff that is garbled and at one point seems like they try to play two comms chatter over each other confusing everything. Has anyone been to the system in the 1.2 trailer where the UA convoy came from in the California sector? (California Sector HW-W C1-7) did it have a gas giant with a relatively close rocky moon by it like the system in the new trailer?

I want more UA stuff!!! :)

There now. No sign of them that I can see. Did the rotating look-see thing at around at a distance of 11kLS from Sol, nada... and a side-order of naff all. Might be worth corroborating that they certainly are not back to be found, mind you.
And in such a corroboration of absence, at least, perhaps a small victory for the Canonn - proof that you can prove a negative! :)

Thanks for checking - was going to be on my to-do list for this eve. Well guess it doesn't really answer anything as they could have been just too busy to worry about the Voyagers ... but good to know anyway !

It's like a Countdown conundrum.
There's a couple of letters different, but I would read MAGELLANIC.

WRT to the Twitch stream this afternoon...

Same for Leonard Nimoy, a UA was sold there specifically because some folk thought it may trigger something.
