Stabbed I hear... No it wasn't with a UA or a shard of one so I'm ruling out an ominous comeback as a flooded human-thargoid zombie ghoul.

Dammit. So we still haven't crossed that off our list...

We need to disinter the Emperor in order to attempt to re-animate his corpse by impaling it on a UA. In the name of science, of course.

No one has confirmed getting a UA from an unknown signal source or a weak signal source so for maximum efficiency only check out strong signal sources. Look for the chat messages from the type-9, if they don't show up then you can ignore that convoy (though I recommend practising on the other convoys).

I stop for all SS ( bumper sticker? ) mainly because it seems that when I slow down for one SS I get a higher chance of seeing another SS .... that i can switch to. Hasnt really helped with my UA hunting yet tho

Has been tried on imp slaves.

AFAIK no one has tried it on senators

I noticed that, but was told that they spawn more regularly at lower speeds, so when you slow down approaching one you are more likely to see another spawn. I can't confirm whether this is true or not, but at zero throttle they all appear within drop range which makes it a lot easier.

Yes, targeting one SS does seem to cause more to spawn. No point entering a USS or WSS if you're only interested in UAs though.

Hafnium Convoy Report:
Ceto - Unpopulated System between Azerleach and Timocanu
00:00 Lawless Hafnium Convoy encountered. Normal T9+2 Conda wing, + extra defence wing
00:01 Approach to within 400m, using Power Management for fine speed control
00:08 T9 starts pre-jump wobble, extra defence wing jumps
00:10 Jump to YIN SECTOR ZU-Y B3 (Unpopulated) - Both Condas still in attendance
00:14 T9 and Wing enter normal space - Approach to within 250m
00:19 T9 starts pre-jump wobble. Continues for longer than normal
00:21 Jump to YIN SECTOR WO-A B1 (Unpopulated) - Both Condas still in attendance. T9 begin odd circling flight, almost as if attempting to interdict
00:25 Single Conda enters normal space, lost from Wing
00:31 Circling Flight Pattern continues, so interdicted T9. Destroyed Conda Wing, took down T9 Shields, Hatchet Breakers till empty, deploy Collector Limpets. 3 Charges of my dual A5 SCB used, heat damage taken.

Getting close did not prevent the T9 from jumping. When within 250m, the pre-jump wobble did take longer than previously noticed, but only by a minute, not long enough to make a difference with a UA

Out of rep, so a massive +1 for this.

It's probably already known, but from my experience with the Hafnium convoys, you can ram the convoy ships with impunity as long as you don't actually destroy them. With a Python fitted with an A6 shield generator and two A rated shield boosters I had no problem taking an Anaconda escort down to 4% hull using just two SCBs whilst doing so. A wing could immediately take on the escorts like this and once the secondary escort wing has jumped away immediately destroy the Condas leaving the T6 helpless.

Good luck. I bet the empire s finest has him in a glass tube working on his clone already. Or maybe INRA itself...

I wouldn't know. In my area we have traditionally used axe.

Lumberjack or viking
No. They use AXE:

Back to the original topic:
What can we do with the morse code we were given? What are we supposed to assume when we hear the UA make that sound?
These are the two questions that make the most sense imo.
