I don't think it was Isinor, but don't quote me on that. If I had a gun to my head I'd have to say Lave or Reidquat. But again it was a long time ago.
Once we learn the mystery of this one, we can figure out the thinking behind it and the steps we were meant to take to solve it, hopefully this will help with all of Frontier future puzzles.
Hope you're right, as Isinor is a permit system that's now bugged, you can't get the permit. If I manage to return from my current exploration trip in time, I might spend some time in Riedquat space.
Unless you have the Isinor permit from 1.2 then it can't be Isinor: the permit is bugged and currently unobtainable.

Hmm, to me this sounds like there is nothing to trigger and find out. The UA is just something that we could guess correctly and will learn later when something else happens as continuation to the story. (Thargoids attack)

Indeed. Once we know what FDev put into the game, we can regard sound analysis, putting objects next to each other and whatever we are doing at the moment.

I don't mean to be a downer here. But MB keeps referencing future stuff that will be added... Or ideas for the future... Is this his way of saying there is nothing left to find untill next update?
I know we keep operating under the assumption that it can be solved in current game. Just weird after 25,000 posts to have MB come in here where we are currently trying to solve UA with current game to talk about us finding stuff put after patches and updates in the future

Yeah, you're probably right. But they could still be related somehow, just have different story arcs. I guess, I haven't been following the events for a good while.

I dont think its the CG mechanic though, as they historically have timers that run out, not to mention signups to participate. Landing the "correct" place and seeing a "sign up here before you sell UA's overthere" thing would be implausable.

This reads as encouraging news to me. Even what we currently can't help but see as 'failure' leads to a broadening of those facets of the game we've chosen to dive-bomb with our attentions, sort of thing.
To agree with others, since the recent notice concerning storylines and plot strands I've been of the mind that even potential 'failure' on our part with the first mystery has still yielded us all manner of resources to bring to bear as it moves forward. Relationships, cooperative channels, test protocols, division of labour, The Derthek File, theories and findings that will survive the inevitable culling upon receipt of new information shall stand us in good stead, Morse, Morse and more Morse, the Canonn private group, our own 'emergent player lore,' knowledge of who is good at what, even the polite frustration of seeing regular influx of new arrivals to the mystery not reading a linked Wiki is in itself good practice for the future.
Not that I don't still bear a little torch of practised suspicion, to be honest, but with evolution impending I also like to think I won't necessarily be charging up my laser pitchfork in the near future.
(Fitting it with batteries should the time come, yes, but for now the charge is definitely being used elsewhere.)

Well, Ed thingamybob mentioned that there was something else to find at Gamescom, but that might have been the free floaters, so you might be right, and that is what it sounds like to me too. What I find puzzling is if it is that, I can think of lots of ways of hinting at it without giving it away. Strange.
