2. There are things that are CURRENTLY in the game about the UA that have not been found.

It would be interesting to know what we already did to trigger the next phase.
At the risk of seeming brazenly impolite (like I couldn't ever possibly post a typo because I'm busier typing what I'm still thinking of getting across than proofing it in the face of excessive scrutiny!) but... 'an continuation' suggests something to me. Words beginning with vowels come to mind. Words related to continuation but not quite that word itself.

Sounds to me like we have yet to figure out who the UAs are being delivered to, and they will make that more apparent soon. Purely a story tidbid of things to come.
My long term prediction is that someone is working with the Thargoids, in exchange for tech, but secretly the Thargoids play both sides to instigate a Fed-Empire war. Once humanity is devestated and weak from war, the Thargods attack, and Feds and Imperials must band together to defeat them.

Wasn't theere a GalNet about Unknown Combat Ships following the UA convoys? Maybe we dont follow the UA carrier.... we follow the combat ships?!

My safest bet is that with our massive interest we triggered that the story will evolve in the future with more subtile hints and ingame objects.
A more literal trigger could be that finding the convoys triggered the UAs appearing in the free form. (Which oddly only occured after GC and our efforts started running slow *tinfoil hat*.)
OR we did trigger the plague, becuase that's what the UA does... plague people.

So .... Can someone measure the exact time between the purrs? If it is the same within a sequence, that is your timer right there.
Remember the whole thing about BPSK, and specifically Manchester encoding, that it sends both the timer and the data in a single signal.
Also, on a side note, there IS a timer at 1500 Hz, but I'm leaning towards static background sound tbh. Although it dies off as the UA loses integrity, so... Undecided.
It's very close to 3.6 seconds.

But look, the issue is that deployment after deployment I have never seen the same pattern of purrs ever repeat (has anybody ever??), surely that's the basis for decoding, even something like BPSK?
To be honest I'm wavering back to it being one (or more interferring) psuedo-randomly generated sine wave(s), with anything over 0 is high, below is low. Hence (if you can visualise that) if the wavelength is always less than 21.6 seconds then no more than three consecutive highs/lows would ever occur. (back of packet calculation, may be totally wrong)

I guess the trigger was shown in the news. Morse code and so on.
This was actually a player submitted story from this group. It also triggered a counter player submitted story where the people around dr. Arcanonnn were accused of being terrorists.
Also, the later story about Morse and the link to human tech was also player submitted from this thread.

Since we have spoken about hidden stuff in the game I'm currently on the way for the CG in Kamcha as I arrived at System ICZ DB-X C1-31.
I'm there with my T7 with advanced discovery scanner and D5 Sensors.
Systemmap shows me a Class K star and another Class M star.
But I cannot find the Class M star anywhere. Not on my navigation list or by my eyes.
Weired that it has already been scanned by someone.
Any game mechanics that i dont know of? Or just a game malfunction?

Thanks Michael! With GalNet being in our ships now, I'm glad to see it given some love! Looking forward to seeing my own name on there when I take this UA to Sag A* and with it in my hold fly into the Black Hole!

Try to target the second star from the system map. You should then be able to fly towards it. If it then still doesn't show up, you might have to report a bug.
Am I the only one secretly hoping for a war with the Thargoids? I kinda want to feel the fear I did in the original Elite when I had a misjump...
