Bell ? (1234567 for length)
Mack wins the final question for this round. Right on, Commander.
Not bad at all folks, not bad at all!
Cheers,
Drew.

The "Zeus" at LTT 15493 (via “Children of Zeus”)?
<chortles> Aye!I feel this quiz would be so much better if people couldn't hit up google.. then we'd see who the real fans are
"Mayflower 97" Tau Ceti
Right on, Commander!
And with 2pm now close (hopefully game servers coming back online in a mo, thus my work here being nearly done) I'll leave you with one from my own contribution...
Q. There was one ship from the original elite that I didn't mention in Elite: Reclamation quite deliberately, but referred to by rhyme. What was it?
Cheers,
Drew.

Oooh! That was the Imperial Clipper, if I remember right...
I don't know the number Drew, but I'm sure I heard D. Braben once claim that more copies of Elite were sold for the BBC micro, than there were BBC micros! How'd that work?![]()
Krait?.. Lots of words rhyme with Krait.
I don't know the answer to the last question but I've just got to mention that was the most enjoyable 12 pages I've read on this forum so far
Nice work Drew. Thanks for that![]()
Taking a wild punt in the dark (having not read Reclamations), how about Krait? Seems like a nice word to rhyme!
Well, I bought Elite for the BBC B on tape, then on 5.25 disc, and then the BBC Master version on 5.25 disc.
Then on 3.5 disc for the Archimedes version.
.
I bet I wasn't alone in doing that.
