Pity about the delay since I get Wednesdays and Thursdays off, but I'm sure I can make time for some thorough testing.. I foresee a number of sleepless nights and fogginess at work.

I'm going to guess that the flying into a planet option is the fun one, am I right?

It's a bit like when I fly a sidewinder into a star and yell out "heat shields at maximum!" in my best Chekov voice right before exploding into a million molten bits... Fun but in a strange and twisted way.

Release date will change in my opinion. I think the time table is to short to have a good release.

Well, i'm exited to the beta. Wanna check out the Bugs and the landings. I think we will find some Bugs for a better release.

So @Zac: But the plan of the beta Release should be this week?

DBOBE himself told us there were problems and there would probably be a delay, on the 22nd.

I should have guessed this.

Free week when ships beta launched (didn't) and now some overtime compensation...

I'm guessing since my playtime is going to be reduced after thursday, Horizons beta is going to launch right after that.

Tuesday is a good day to release:)
No one in their right mind ships before the weekend. Well unless you count Saturday and Sunday as working days.

As per discussion on page 3 about crashing into the planet.
It would be cool to have impact craters dynamically generated.

The size of such a crater correlates to the size of the pilots ego :)
