Just how much does one require to obtain total A rated modules for combat in the Python ...to bring that rain of endless destruction??
I appreciate my FAS but i miss the shield power i had with the vulture...and well..the python with the extra hardpoints would be pure fun i assume
FAS with prismatic and heavy armor is more survivable then a vulture.
Nothing can survive an FAS for long.

I used to really like my Python, until I got my Anaconda.
It's 230M for my A-rated Python with two C3 gimbaled beams, one C3 PA, two C2 PAs. http://coriolis.io/outfit/python/27...w19gDNZA===.EwBhGYy6YRn25HiA?bn=Combat PythonThanks for the link....fleshing that out to a max combat mega-beast...with 2340 armor points = 213 mill
After months of saving credits, I finally saved enough for a Python!! Woot!
The pilots seat, felt just the same as my ASP seat, the view out the canopy looked just the same as my asp. Even the control panels were the same!
Then I looked to my right and just stared at the empty co-pilot seat...................
Months of RL work to buy a ship:
That has more firepower, thereby making combat easier
Has a slower turning rate
Can't run from a fight (if needed)
And has a constant reminder that I'm playing this game alone
Anyone else feel this way?
So its like sex.

I have to say I made a fairly similar post when I upgraded from Asp to Python as well. I can tell you, as has others, when you do A spec it out the Python becomes a very formidable machine but you need to learn new tactics to get the best out of her...... judicious use of Flight Assist off is one of them, as is using your thrusters, neither of which I needed in the Asp.After months of saving credits, I finally saved enough for a Python!! I have absolutely zero interest in multi-crew ships. I can think of nothing worse than having a bunch of knobs all floating about in a single space craft. I know SC will have it but if and when it comes to Elite I won't be part of any multi-crew.
Yeh why would you sit in a gunner seat doing nothing for half your time? A ship full of people wanting to be the Captain, welcome to an episode ofing in space.
To the OP there are only two ships you need in Elite. A Vulture and an Asp. That's it, between them you have the best ship at any given task if you change the fitting. The big ships just slow you down and aren't better at any single task. Just less refitting but at that price any refitting is a pain.
