Its a strange one as it is salvage but also has rare commodity stuff written on description, maybe a new type of commodity rare salvage? or just a bug
edit: also the max price of a rare commodity is 2xgalatic average this one higher

Further to this, it was discussed that it's possible that when the UA "dies" it is actually returning to it's interdimentional home. If you look carefully when it "dies" there appears to be some weird tearing of the fabric of spacetime. Or, maybe it's just exploding ;)

has anyone watched their "contacts" or nav panel during a UA 'splosion? Perhaps there will be a new entry for a second or two?

I believe that is normal for legal salvage, at least I saw it on some legal salvage I picked up last week. (can't remember what it was, artwork maybe)

This is I believe the first time Frontier has listed all of the stations, that suggests to me that there a pattern Frontier want us to find.

If there's a pattern, it's very well hidden...
You all can use the awesome http://ed-map.eu/, disable the bubbles, and press SHIFT to activate the distance plotter, that traces lines between selected systems.
If you find a pattern, I'll send a signed artwork from my personal desk... ;)

That it appears three times consecutively is either an obvious attempt to get us to notice a clue, or an accident.

Nothing jumps out at me...

There have been a few GalNet posts that repeated over the last 3 weeks or so. At first I thought it was just an accident on posting, but now I'm not so sure...

I think someone mentioned a theory about the virus/whatever possibly being spread via GalNet. Maybe we just need to wrap the infected stations in some industrial size tin foil to prevent it from spreading. Sounds like something the Canonn would do :)

I have tried to get it wet, by droping it on a ice asteroid and melting the asteroid. No Gremilins came out :S
wetness multiplies.. Food after midnight gives you gremlins.... Maybe that's the key to problems with the stations.

"Services Suspended at Carter Port" appears 3 times. Could this be a clue? I compared the lists of all 3 side by side, no apparent differences.

Like in that TNG episode? :)

That's it! Sell aluminum to stations. Entire convoys worth!

Seems a little quiet on the hard sciencing front, doesn't it? But don't feel bad. It's going around.
The canny boys and girls of the Tinfoil Berets' covert detachment have acquired this evidence of Professor Palin's unflinching pursuit of raw data...

Just a still from the footage they snagged, sure, but... trust me... it's just seven hours that look pretty much like that. I would also post a link to the audio they captured but it's just six hours of what sounds like sobbing. Except the bit when his missus phones and they argue about his career choices. Then he punches the wall and hurts his wrist. Then more sobbing. Then he tries to call a series of Federation bigwigs. Nobody answers. Then more sobbing.
Now, yeah, sure, it could all be an exotically cunning counter-intelligence set-up but until we reliably learn otherwise I'm happy to smirk and send his wife a nice hamper for Christmas.

I'm a little jealous. Their clean room gowning area is much nicer and larger than the one I work in. And just look at all that blue sticky stuff.

Not exactly a pattern, but it seems that a lot of the stations are basically close to the bubble (Merope), the rest must be somehow special (more than 300 LY from Merope) like Sol, Warkushanui, Varati.

In today's galnet update the station service suspended notice is repeated 3 times. On November 16th's galnet update of the increase in UA value, it was repeated 2 times. Coincidence?

All interesting. I wonder if there is a connection.

What about shutting down black markets?

That's a great idea. So, we what, try and get affected but functioning stations turned over to Federation control? Does the Empire shut down black markets as well?

also on Oct 12, which has TWO articles that show up 2x each.

Also note that some entries appear to be missing altogether, i.e., there is no post for Nov. 8., among others. You might dismiss this as simply having nothing to report on those days, but if that's the case, then how do you explain Oct. 30, which is blank... dun dun dun....

GUYS

I think I also read that you were planning on having some rarer POI's the further away from inhabited space we were, is that still the plan?
It would give added incentive to explore in the hope of finding something rare or even unique out there which is something that is currently missing I feel.
There are things hidden out in the black.

Michael

We need to go deeper.
