UA Mystery thread 4 - The Canonn

Digest(ive):

This week, we have been mostly discussing: biscuits :D

Perhaps Red or one of the other resident IT geniuses could code something up to procedurally generate a summary for Galnet. We could call it "This week in Biscuitspace". It would fit right in with the other useless procedurally-generated Galnet "story" content.

Or maybe gravitational lensing bent their trajectory....

Was there a mutiny...?

No idea.

This is all we know: 'Archaeological evidence suggests that it did indeed successfully reach its first port of call at Tau Ceti, but the fate of both ship and crew thereafter was unknown until now.'

Correct. And it has two landable colonies and three attackable outposts. Though I don't believe they have any canon names, instead things like "Asprin Place", "Schachner Mines" etc

Already landed there and checked it out. Pretty boring TBH, though more interesting terrain than the usual bland procedurally generated planet - I think they may have spent some (but not much) love on it. The ring makes for some pretty pictures from time to time (when it is not graphically buggy and looking like a cloud of brightly-lit flies buzzing around in the distance). First planet I fell below the surface on using debug cam. It will always have a special place in my heart.

Just dumped off another 20 UAs. Running total is now 153 sold to my "associates". Took me 75 minutes this time round, unfortunately had a really lucky run and got 14 in about 30 minutes, then nothing for a loooooong time. This meant my systems suffered and I took 149k in damage, PP and FSD were both <30% integrity this time round.

Since it's the weekend, I'm hoping a sale of 60+ UAs first thing is enough to pique someone's interest on a monday morning.

Oh, and my Trader rank loves this stuff..

EDIT: Make that a running total of 173 UAs sold. Also setting up a little surprise if this station doesn't suffer issues before 1.5 lands :)

"Oi, Phil! Who the bloody heck dropped off this mess of decomposing alien biohazard on my space dock while I was off having a nice break with the missus on the weekend! If I've told you and those bloody Canonn idjits once I've told 'em a hundred times, take their alien friends to sumun else's dock. 'Nuff problems here with the stuff that Powell regularly brings back from his trips with Tamsin, innit? Clean that mess up and shove it out the lock, along with the next one of them buggers that comes flouncing in here all high and mighty talking nonsense about science!"

Yeah. The rule is: What happens in Beta, stays in Beta.

Plus, FDev are sneaky enough. The new UA Code will not be inserted until Beta goes live (At least, that's what I would do, if there's any scientific reasoning by that.)

You know what, if post rep was available in the content of these pages, you could actually do this.

Could also look for the most quoted posts as well.
I like 'This week in Biscuitspace' - or how about (to purloin SpocksOddSocks' genius suggestion) The Tin Foil Digest(ive)

It's much easier than that. In fact I'll do it now......

This week much has happened. Much has also wilfully failed to happen. That which has happened has not had much 'mysterious relevance'. That which has not happened might well have had much relevance but in failing to happen failed to gain relevance. In addition there is much that has (or has not) happened that has not been reported in this thread and therefore is not relevant. It may have been relevant, and might continue to be relevant, but unless it happens that somebody happens to report these happenings it might just as well not have happened and it is therefore the case that (as it happens) it is not relevant to happenings so far reported.
Stay tuned for more reports of events
As they happen :)

Best of luck to everyone! Watched the Medium Class Race Club Final earlier - top quality stuff!

You've secured some of Powell's Viscounts? Crumbs - he must be in a good mood...

I'd code the beta UAs to scan nearby ships and then spell out the name of a corresponding biscuit in ROT13 morse just to mess with people. But then I do have a sadistic streak...
