Ah but how big is the shell going to be now?
I hope we'll see some twist with it, that won't be related to it's size. Devs had made enough small updates during 1.4 to expand or contract it (if they really wanted to go that way).

So Sirius Inc says Arc is made up - loons.

And they wonder why so many of my Galnets get posted? Uh... Well obviously it's because I bribe them right!? Or... Good ideas & high quality collaboratively edited text (usually by between 2-5 Canonneers, including one or two of my fellow Councillors usually). It's not hard when you're part of a group with so many talented people (Choc Chip Cookies all round, people! O7)

Separately...

We need official Ambassadors to other groups please... People with proven pedigrees on the threadnoughts (not necessarily long histories, but people who've shown an approach which is in line with how the Canonn works), or on our site. The Council, and the wider membership/research team takes the identity and ethos of our group very seriously, and it's essential that everybody is 'on message'.

Yeah, I know - dull as ditchwater - but a lot of people have invested a lot of time in the Canonn - and its key for us that we honour that, for every member (spirit of cooperation, etc). Register your interest on our forums at http://canonn.science (registering first if you haven't already)

I could send word to the FaceBook Community-Commonwealth. That's really the only other group I participate much, if at all, with. If I get a couple reps or a go-ahead from a more senior member I'll take that as confirmation.

@Various, economy of my station is Industrial/Extraction. I believe there's nothing unique about it's economy that other infected stations wouldn't have.

In my opinion, because of exactly why my secret station hasn't failed; events around station failures are FD injected, not player generated i.e we have no agency over them.

In case it's being interpreted this way; I'm not being critical of FD if this is indeed the case, simply that our agency in the plot has considerable impact on what we can do about the station failures.
I think there is strong evidence of that, however there are voices reminding us not jump to conclusions. Lets see what reaction we get from the Gal-Net post of yours.

I don't have Horizons, so can't experiment with buggy, but can you guys make out what gravity that world on new trailer have, by looking at SRV's wheel thrusters? Do they show more exhaust on low gravity worlds? Or direct themselves downwards on high gravity ones?

For all Science has done for the good of mankind, it has produced some horrors.

Like torturing cats and enabling rats to migrate into space:

Is it a large barnacle? If it is, it's bigger than I expected.https://forums.frontier.co.uk/images/icons/vbposticons/icon7.gif

Silly timezones. Ridiculous outdated invention. I particularly hate Daylight Savings Time, which actually saves no daylight for important things (i.e. not work), and is meaningless when you work indoors, other than making it more difficult to get up in the morning and more depressing when you head home in the evening in the dark. And I'm only at 44 degrees N, not sure how folks further north than that survive.

i Don't know would be good if it's about 300ly from Merope a hell of a lot of systems in a bubble that big and a hell of a lot of UA's, what with landings im sure something else besides expansion of the bubble and ways to cure stations.

"What was that dear?" ... "No I'm not coming to bed, no." ... "Why? Well - I can't move. Turns out rats can hypnotise humans if they hang upside down. I fear I may never move again."
Pmsl i must test that out.

I'm on 54 deg. N. We have dark and dusk. The dusk we get to se on weekends.
I live in the south.

We don't.

Greetings from 60ish degrees N.

Been there once for a few months at various locales on Ellesmere Island, got the "I went to Alert and all I got was this lousy T-shirt" T-shirt. You have my commiserations. Luckily it was summer, so you just could never sleep.

Did your part of the world once too. Western Highlands and Inner/Outer Hebrides was even worse. Could only ever live there in summer. Explains a lot about the Scots though . ;-)

I'd quite like to be anywhere but here this time of year, especially since this one has been one of the greatest ones ever weather-wise.

Midsummers eve weather was pretty much the same as beginning of December.

It's not only the green lights: it's the weird structure on the right, partially lighten, look at those beams, they looks so organic... It's not a human made construction for sure... ;)
It's.... A SHIP!!!!! A landed Alien mothership... I told ya.

The section at 57-58 seconds looks to me like a crashed Generation ship, but the following few seconds do indeed look like something non-human; looks like the brown "beams" to the right hand side are possibly stairs/ramp up to something? or ships support legs? (similar technology feel to the UAs, but not necessarily Thargoid).

Looked like a version (alien) of sentries around a base to me

Do we have any green lasers in game? In the game launcher (to the right in the Horizons advertisement) I see (Eagle) Imperial Courier with a green laser.
