The same happend to me yesterday as well. Flying to the station with boost, hearing a ship for a second, kaboom, the other ship exploded and I was attacked by the station, so I did kaboom as well.lost my courier to a brain dead npc security right outside a station
You have tried slowing to zero, yes or taking avoiding actions?
While the NPC is scanning you, you KW scan the NPC and line up the PAs. As soon as your scan is finished let loose.
I've not had any problems with pirate ramming since waaaaay back in PB1.
The other alternative is to fly a tanked ship and breeze through them without a care in the world.
What do I know though? I've spent the last 4 hours in a RES in Hel and finally quit out due to boredom and inability to focus on the screen.
Memo to self: Stop drinking and flying/fighting. It'll only end in tears.![]()
Oh, yes they do.
Lol, looks like the sys-sec ace pilots all suicided by ramming stations, now the rookies are sent in.This... scan-raming is frustrating.
you can hear them hitting the boost and BANG
Truly hope that they will fix that soon.
that's why I set up shop there several months ago, it's nice and quiet and normally there isn't any pirates or players there. Frankly, I think we need more people on the snowglobes part as it's not even at tier 1 yet and we only have 4 more days on it.You have tried slowing to zero, yes or taking avoiding actions?

I put in a bug report right after 2.0.02 came out and they responded. Frontier QA acknowledges the issue and they are working on it.
I don't know if it's the same for you guys, but for me, they only charge at me when I've got a panel up, like the contacts panel. I figured out that if I slow right down before bringing up the panel, they whizz past, but don't hit me.
Its like the ships are going too fast or getting too close to avoid the collision. A Security Eagle hit me face on yesterday, but I'm sure it pitched up at the last second like it tried to avoid me.

Actually thats interesting. I was looking at the NAV panel earlier when the ship hit me. I'm gonna experiment with that.
