This isn't necessarily the most apt of locations for this post. However as more of the contributors hereto will have an inkling as to the referents, it's going in here anyway. Mods: feel free to move, amend, edit or otherwise deal as you see fit. Oh, and Merry Christmas to one and all

So ladies and gentlemen:
It is highly unlikely that this post will ever see the light of day. Unfortunately in this age of political correctness, the dissenting voice is, erm - frowned upon.
Some background. Recently, yours truly was banned from these here forums on the - not unreasonable - grounds that I was shall we say, disrespectful to one of Frontier's employees.
Which is fine. It's not for you or I to decide what is or isn't acceptable on the forum. As the saying is (and I fully respect): their Forum, their rules.
The problem is the masking of a deeper malais.
Our esteemed leader the mighty Braben, and his epic team of dedicated coders have provided us with some of the most fabulous gameplay ever seen on any platform anywhere in the history of videogames. Most notably with the release of Horizons, the seamless transition from supercruise through orbital cruise and on down into planetary landing is an achievement, in my most humble of opinions, without parallel in the history of gaming graphics. Without delving into the hows, whys, and wherefores, it seems to me that the 'flight mechanic' is flawless. The ships? Fantastic, and each with a definite character of their own.
For myself, an 84'er, Oh Boy! And here I am already with over 1000 hrs under my belt.

Where's the game? Microsoft's Flight Simulator is fantastic.
But dull.
See where I'm going here?
It's the same: MSFS in space.
The XP Mr Brookes said recently in a post (under the name of our beloved Ed ..................
But the UA story?
Blows.
Hard.
'Moderate' this post if you must.
But understand it is sent out there in the spirit of furthering the mystery, energising the playerbase, and above all, exhalting the developers to live up to our (high) expectations.
FYI this is my last post.
Ban me if you want: I won't notice or care.
But you should.
