Okay, so now that they're found, can you elaborate on what you mean by that? Pretty please with Cthulhu on top?
Actually that is out of the ordinary and almost exactly what I expected. See how the scan occupies both the high band and the low band, meaning it's both artificial and natural?

Why nebulae though? Apart from the fact that rocks around dwarf objects in a nebula are generally not snowballs.
It appears to be a bit random rather than anything vaguely scientific.

Probably that is one of the static ones (placed) rather than a smaller scaled down (spikeys only) random POI...
That's my guess Lord GrootBaart will confirm/disprove.
They are also much smaller then I expected can't wait to get home and check them out

yeah I noticed that, it makes me wonder just who put that there, whether they really are artificial organic structures created by an alien race or possibly even humans
you can scan the big one then they all show up as organic structure and the middle one purrs like a ua mmm
yes, and it looks curiously like the symbols on the UA's... which we were basically told were unrelated. odd.
DAMN! I logged out yesterday on this same planet! And now I'm at work... Hope they dont expire in the next 3 hours...
The guide is good now.
A few things to remember.
- the first Thargoid mission was to Pleione, to find Mic Turners flight recorder. The second mission was to Polaris.
- there were other story branches in FFE than the 'peace branc'. We don't know which one FD has chosen. The one Drew mention is the most probable.
- Mycoids are not virus. They are mycoid. It is very dificult to make this out from the FFE description and it's not a big deal. They behaved like virus.
Please remember that Thargoids knows a lot about us. They have learned that we act as individuals. If you behave, they will probably let you go. You may even get a good deal
If you shoot one, you will probably make the KOS list.
