Hello all,

I'd like to be the one to break the good news that Frontier are so happy with us and they are doing lots and lots behind the scenes. You probably knew that. They contacted me personally to let me know about the new skins for Anacondas, something the DWE crowd and explorers in general have wanted for a long time, so they had us in mind when they made them. They've also given me 5 free packs (one of each of the new ones) to give away as a small thank you for our great efforts for the community, the game in general, and out of respect for us.

After discussing with Erimus, I've decided that the best way to hand them out, in the spirit of gratitude, is to nominate exceptional pilots of the main areas of the fleet.

4 we are giving to a Fuel Rat, a Rock Rat, Photo Team member and a Cartographer. We are going to ask the organisers of those divisions to nominate the person they think deserves them the most.

For the fourth, we'd like to ask you, the noble and brave pilots of the expedition, to nominate someone who you think has been outstanding. Please post below who you think deserves it and why. At the end we will cast a vote among the organisers and announce the winner.

I will keep this open for a week, so final submissions should be no later than 6pm next monday, when I will close the thread.

Congratulations guys! We are doing GREAT things, reaching millions of people with inspiration and awe, magazines and the entire Elite community.

p.s. Don't forget to thank Community Manager Ed Lewis. I can't even begin to list what he has done for us, and I doubt he even would approve me doing so, but just starting with the Newsletter PR, and ending with these gifts, he deserves a huge thank you.

CMDR Luke Antra did some outstanding work yesterday, co-ordinating the formation at Sag A*.

CMDR Nexolek (Or someone else?) has done a huge amount of work with his Monster Sheet for the prospectors.

There are also two commanders who were responsible for setting up the Discord and TeamSpeak comms, which have been invaluable.

Im going to vote for CMDR NeoTron as the bot that he created that's running in Discord has been amazingly useful for everyone.

You can nominate people who are behind the scenes (apart from Erimus and I), but just so you know we do intend to reward them at the end anyway, once we figure out how

There are too many people to chose from who have all made awesome contributions to this expedition. Cmdrs Baroness Galaxy, Michael Darkmoor, Kancro Vantas, iDragox, and many many more all deserve nominations.

But yes, Cmdr Olivia Vespera is probably the standout choice. Not only for flying a T9 all the way out here, starting Wasp Radio, but also for generally being incredibly supportive of the endeavour and a friendly Commander all round.

I would vote for Vespera but she is flying a T9 and I'd honestly rather vote for someone who brought a Conda along for the DWE, it just seems more fitting (even though I smile from ear to ear everytime I see Vespera in that T9). CMDR Neotron gets my vote.


I don't even own and Anaconda so don't anyone go voting for me, LOL!!!!

Attack and destroy them just before they dock to sell their data. If there's one thing I know about explorers, it's that they love a good prank.

I nominate CMDR Byped, he has basically lead our group in TeamSpeak, he knows how and where to prospect as well as cartographing an absolutely enormous amount of systems, if anyone else comes close its Isokix who I would also like to nominate as he does damn near the same amount of work.

CMDR Mindwipe who is working tirelessly behind the scenes, for all of us, on our return journey.

I'd say Olivia but then I had this happen to me just a few nights ago. I believe Cmdr Silh deserves a paint Job simply because of his great response to ~50% hull dmg and his eagerness to return back out after he had such a critical damage incident. I can't say that I would have come back out.
