I think everybody knows that this is the case at present, the argument is should it be done away with. The joke here is that these people go around griefing in wings on lone traders and such and cry when people log out like this or use solo. Then when the tables are turned on them they do exactly that, log out and then log back in, in solo mode to avoid any Cmdr action and then faint surprise that there is no Cmdr presence in the 'Solo' instance he has logged back into. Clearly clueless and rattled, you cant fake stupidity like that.

The actual issue here is that Frontier allowed a situation where it's possible for a player group which by all means deserves -and even asks for- trouble, to avoid any and all consequences by combat logging, and instead you guys are beating a dead horse by questioning the SDC's integrity, when that was certainly never one of their selling points.

Nobody likes menu logging. Personally I put the offenders on a KOS list and the next time I see them I try and do my best to alpha them in under 15s. But what good is it to get outraged at the SDC for doing it? Aren't they already on everybody's KOS list anyway?

If anything, be glad the SDC are the ones in the spotlight.

While some may be "outraged" I am interpreting the majority as merely pointing out the hypocrisy as well as laughing at SDC members.

And why not?

They may want to cause trouble. They may enjoy notoriety. Fine and dandy.

I wonder if they will enjoy being laughed at as buffoons,,,,

So let me get this right, the SDC complain about players who log out during combat, they also hate players going into solo and private groups because it undermines players in the open group.

Wing of 4 vs 1 PvP: "Griefing" (if you are not in the wing of 4)

I see it made it to the wall of shame spreadsheet. I'm thinking Rinzler has too much integrity to be associated with SDC. Even his posts don't come across as irrelevant noise on the forums like the rest of them. Odd, that.

Look. FD does not care, we want them to start looking into this. Sundae is sacrificing himself to raise the problems of combat logging.

I'm not sure they give a damn about combat logging - there are people who think this game is free license to let out all their basest murderous unfair and unpleasant urges and that it was sold to them on that basis - I suspect that's more concerning than people having the option to not take part in their fantasies.

Dunno, but anything that will make the game better (I got a strong opinion about whats better- any CL= cheating, solo and private groups should not affect the galaxy) is good. If it needs ruining the SDC and Sundaes reputation, Im willing to pay the price

Lol... bull. He was clearly trying to save his butt. Considering the whining these guys do about CLing. That reaction is pathetic on his part. What's nearly as pathetic, is the whole "doing it to draw attention to the issue" shtick.

He was rattled and instinctively reacted in a way that he abhors. Cut and dry.
