And who wants to go to the center of the galaxy where you can explore whole worlds.

Pretty pictures...but the stated intent of the devs is that people will play the game to 'get to' the center.
With each world only having one biome...and a limited set of 'things' to see? And these fancy worlds very rare in the galaxy/universe? Yeah...the center will be the driving force of the game.
I will play the game as I want. NMS will give you this freedom in a rich universe for exploration
And a unique biome is much more than we have in ED.![]()
My expectations are that it will be a decent game...but a poor excuse for a simulation. Overall, the devs have pretty much stated they are happy if people just putter around...but the real game is to get to the center of the galaxy.
At which point I have to ask, 'Then what?"
...but somehow I think that a lot of people are going to hate it...

You think that a lot of people are going to hate a game that no one has yet to even see the commercial release of.
Well, good for you, and you may be right, just like many hate ED and SC. So what - haters hate!
Do tell, what are you seriously expecting after that?
Concentrating on the game instead of the "simulation" would be wonderful. Engaging game play is where development should focus. NMS just has to bring a decent progression to the journey to the center of the universe and not be buggy. It's promising.

.I think you will find the 'rich universe' lacking...much more than it does in E: D.
.
Hahatough means better critique which sometimes improves the genre ultimately I guess.
You must also feel these concerns about sameyness Viajero?![]()

I think I mentioned this before, but the concept of racing to a point while harvesting and base building reminds me a lot of the basic concept behind Carrier Command.
That is not a Bad Thing at all.

I must parry and advance by saying thus:
I love the graphical look of ED it feels like I'm in space for sure. I was really more talking about the game play
Nothing disappointed me more than ED and their updates.
at that time any other space game being released already would be like finding an oasis in the desert.
