No it was not updated.
Ah, the Sketches currently support horizontal/flat sensor mounting only. The UI allows you to rotate around 'up' but wont work with a vertical sensor.
Not a big change to the sketches to allow this though so will have a think and update the code this evening.
Amos - you can be the alpha tester![]()
Sounds like a dodgy reset, or corruption somehow that's when weird axis mixing happens.

ok I have installed and compiled it now up to ONE TIME DEVICE CALIBRATION. when I open up serial monitor though there are no numbers scrolling nothing!! There is a constant red light on and 2 yellows on arduino and 1 red on MPU6050
I built two boards up today. Very easy to build and very good quality board. I built two of them, as my wife, (Flossy on here) wanted one too. I installed and setup the Arduino's on my Mac Pro as that had the Arduino development environment already installed. I run a PC for ED and Flossy runs a iMac that runs a Windows bootcamp partition. I tested both EDtracker builds on my PC and after loading the beta Arduino on my PC for the drivers, they worked fine. However when I come to try them on Flossies system I cannot get it to register in ED. I installed the same Arduino software that I put on my PC and the EDtracker is recognised fine. It shows up as a HID device etc. But as soon as I try and set it to an axis in ED, nothing. Any ideas what I can try next? Her ED works fine with Warthog controllers so it not a problem recognising controllers.
Stoney silence..... The tumbleweeds blow by.....

What happens if you unplug the joystick?
Id like to try and isolate the tracker from other input devices and see if that helps.
We are not trying to play the game we are isolating the problem.
Yep. But just tried another sim on her machine that she plays. Aces High. It's recognised there and works the views so I am stumped why it wont work in ED.
Is it just that it won't bind or binds but doesn't work in game ?
I'll have to wait until you guys can fabricate them...
I believe brumster at least is taking orders for pre-made devices, possibly pocketmoon and deadfred as well. If they are too busy, I would be able to assist, but makes more sense to go through them first if they are available
That's excellent news! Thanks!
I agree with Megram. I did send you a PM offering similar. I think you might find it a bit of a problem ordering from HobbyComponents though as they are now out of stock.
I'm a bit low on stock myself, it's been like a production line here last weekend!
