Why is manual docking such a good thing?I'm so delighted with this, makes smuggling a lot more interesting and should encourage manual docking.
I read that a lot of changes mean that those without Horizons will be at a disadvantage in combat, even against NPCs. Is this true? Could someone be kind enough to give me a rundown on what those without horizons will see change in the base game?
To be clear, player who are in 1.6 and doesn't update in 2.1 will CLEARLY be disadvantaged. NPC as PLAYERS will be equipped with AA+ modules, and when I see the results on my tests during the BETA... flying in AA+ modules, is just incense.

The change list is HUGE even for just 1.6 people without horizons - the changelog is in the first post. go grab a cuppa and a sandwich and have a sit down, it'll take you a while
You'll spend month to collect materials needed for your update, and because of bad rolls, you'll have to go and search for material again...I will get the stuff I want by meandering around the galaxy until I eventually have the right stuff, then I will be happy with the modifications I get because they will still be improving my ship.

It slows the game down when you're trying to do a big run.
I think that's kind of the idea to get people to upgrade. £20 isn't a lot of money if you really enjoy the game.

Or it is just hypocrite from FRONTIER to force some players to update to HORIZON without to say it. We finally have our P2W !It just makes it that much more exciting.![]()

With Shinrarta, it's already the case !Do you want everything given to you on a nice big silver platter?

lol I'm not complaining and I'm not unemployed. I just don't want EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW. That is the mindset that makes people call it a grind, I will get the stuff I want by meandering around the galaxy until I eventually have the right stuff, then I will be happy with the modifications I get because they will still be improving my ship.
Meanwhile others will be complaining about the grind and the fact that they don't have PERFECT modifications.
It's all about how you look at the game.
