Patch Notes Update 1.6 and The Engineers (2.1) update incoming

You are true : UNEMPLYED won't complain this update !

lol I'm not complaining and I'm not unemployed. I just don't want EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW. That is the mindset that makes people call it a grind, I will get the stuff I want by meandering around the galaxy until I eventually have the right stuff, then I will be happy with the modifications I get because they will still be improving my ship.
Meanwhile others will be complaining about the grind and the fact that they don't have PERFECT modifications.

It's all about how you look at the game.

on the livestream they where talking of 900 000 avatars ?

sounds like every minor faction has its own engineers ?

They are talking about your mission contacts with the factions. Each faction have several contacts depending on how good/bad your rep with them are.

I read that a lot of changes mean that those without Horizons will be at a disadvantage in combat, even against NPCs. Is this true? Could someone be kind enough to give me a rundown on what those without horizons will see change in the base game?

To be clear, player who are in 1.6 and doesn't update in 2.1 will CLEARLY be disadvantaged. NPC as PLAYERS will be equipped with AA+ modules, and when I see the results on my tests during the BETA... flying in AA+ modules, is just incense.

I think that's kind of the idea to get people to upgrade. £20 isn't a lot of money if you really enjoy the game.

It just makes it that much more exciting. :)

The change list is HUGE even for just 1.6 people without horizons - the changelog is in the first post. go grab a cuppa and a sandwich and have a sit down, it'll take you a while

I did just read it and the changelog didn't seem that big? Are you talking about the previous patchnotes which are all posted below the current changelog? I'm not reading all that! LOOOL I don't even know what half of it means. I was just hoping for like a simple breakdown of changes.
Looks like Horizons is worth getting now though, I didn't think it was previously. Thanks though for not being a        like the idiot who responded to me on Facebook lol

You'll spend month to collect materials needed for your update, and because of bad rolls, you'll have to go and search for material again...

Why is manual docking such a good thing?
It slows the game down when you're trying to do a big run.

It's all part of the experience, using the docking computer and silent running makes smuggling a whole lot easier and some might say that it was an exploit.

I think some people just play this game because they need SOMETHING to complain about, you seem to have nothing but bad things to say and yet are commenting on here waiting for the update, it's hilarious.

That's crazy. I mean I will probably upgrade anyway, but forcing people to do so due to this....so now I'm on my way back from the Galactic core and I might just get obliterated by OP'd NPCs because they have ridiculously overpowered ships? Seems a bit crazy. Nonsense I think, incense smells nice but hmmmm :D

Don't waste your time..

"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

All we can do is hope that they quit the game asap.. since they already paid the game, it won't be any loss.
