Patch Notes Update 1.6 and The Engineers (2.1) update incoming

£20 isn't a lot of money if you really enjoy the game.

For some, it's a simple upgrade. For others, including myself, it means having to buy a new computer as well, as my current computer is below Horizons specs. I, for one, will not be upgrading to Horizons for a couple of years to come.

I think some people just play this game because they need SOMETHING to complain about, you seem to have nothing but bad things to say and yet are commenting on here waiting for the update, it's hilarious.
ha... that was a troll ?

Or it is just hypocrite from FRONTIER to force some players to update to HORIZON without to say it. We finally have our P2W !

I'll be one of the non-Horizons folk. I'm not in a position to upgrade from the base game for a few months (other priorities). Sure it'll be a bit tougher, but I doubt it'll be impossible.

Why is manual docking such a good thing?
It slows the game down when you're trying to do a big run.

It doesn't have to be slow ..

It's also fun.

That's crazy. I mean I will probably upgrade anyway, but forcing people to do so due to this....so now I'm on my way back from the Galactic core and I might just get obliterated by OP'd NPCs because they have ridiculously overpowered ships? Seems a bit crazy. Nonsense I think, incense smells nice but hmmmm :D

he's just fearmongering, they are limited in the amount of upgrades they can have and have to roll for them too, often from not 5* modifications. Otherwise everyone would just get rinsed by NPC's the moment 2.1 released, since none of us will have any upgrades.

You bought a game. It's version 1. They promised you a 2015 game. You get that. You get a HUGE improvement in 2016.

You can't complain for not getting the 2016 version without paying for it.

People, please get a grip: there's countless additional paid hours in development in 2.n - so pay for it. This whole "they want to lure us into spending money for something we deserve for free" is just utter ******** (self censored).

About the "engineers will rinse us" stuff: I had my last short stint in beta today. AI is nearly on the 2.0 level, no one who knows about SYS and ENG will get beaten to pulp by NPC every 5 minutes. The one who is should propably call for some NPC-killing-instruction, no matter what ship he uses.

I'm so delighted with this, makes smuggling a lot more interesting and should encourage manual docking.

I always manually dock. Didn't even know there was such a heresy called auto dock computer!!! Damn lazy pilots!!!

But I can understand why it exists. Why shouldn't, in the years 3300?!?! [big grin]

Ooh - I've just found the ignore User button - it makes this thread a much better read.
1st and hopefully last time I'll have to use it.

I did just read it and the changelog didn't seem that big? Are you talking about the previous patchnotes which are all posted below the current changelog? I'm not reading all that! LOOOL I don't even know what half of it means. I was just hoping for like a simple breakdown of changes.
Looks like Horizons is worth getting now though, I didn't think it was previously. Thanks though for not being a like the idiot who responded to me on Facebook lol
Ridiculous isn't it - manymany good things.

Don't fret too much about the guy getting in a flap about how the NPCs were in beta - they were trying to test these mods in the beta so the NPCs were on steroids re:the mods.
