Go back and read my posts. The state of most of the barnacles changed on Thursday morning.
Yeah. As a great evil villain once said "THROW ME A BONE!" like seriously. Were at a dead end.
All the barnacles having their intact / destroyed status flipped.

Not quite that simple. I checked 3 that were previously destroyed and they are still destroyed.
unknown probes are illegal everywhere.
Also - it's not the first time we'd have found out about something new from in-game lists: Meta-Alloys and Barnacles

Oh yeah I read that now, quite a few pages... Darn I need a lot of Vanadium, anyone by any chance knows an intact barnacle with Vanadium?
I need niobium too. Don't wanna have to go back to driving aimlessly round planets. :/

In that video it does look to be pointing to the Merope system to me.. am I blind?
I took it to merope. Yeah its pointing to it. But whats with the new sounds its making?
At the very start. When i was looking at it through the bridge. I dont recognise those chrips.
Well there you have it clearly says Unknown artifact in this video. not unknown probe so they must be diffrent things. and as said before unknown artifacts aren't banned at stations where probes are.
PLease some one help clear this up. im trying my best but am way out at the moment cant get to maia or merope for a bit.
Im gonna be looking for probes in convoys.
good start. some interesting convoys around deciat 7b
Maybe the explorers out at the Formidine Rift will start finding these unknown probes.
Its a possibility.
