If I find one, do I shoot it or nah?
Nah, you don't want to shoot 'unknown' stuff and then be pointed for doing it. It is better to crash into them.

OK, this has been brewing a while so don't think it's directed at you explicitly.
Can we *please* stop 'Appealing to the Gods' on this? I think to date over the last week or so I've seen requests for information about:
(Snip)
.....
BTW: I'm very exicited what MB will present today.
i believe so, well non shot up ones at least.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but when you scan a barnacle you get some scan data to sell under the "Transactions" tab.
I've been to the witch head double barnacle.
I've scanned one of the barnacles, but the second reports that its already scanned. So could this actually be the same barnacle? I think it's a 2 headed variety..
Also I note that once again, it's based on a planet with silicon.
Looks to me like they are genetically engineered silicon based lifeforms..designed to extract metals.....For WAR!.

Is this true? All of the astros with barnacle life on them have silicon?
If anyone else is searching in Hind, add me VISION1776
I have been searching the T Taurus 2B for about 3 hours. Im going to stop here and search 2A tomorrow.
Sorry, i probably missed something: Was there an annoucement, that something will be presented today ??

Finally made it into the Witch Head Nebula after ripping out some armor and dumping some cargo, and this one is confirmed:
Will now land and check if my wave scanner only shows one of them.
3h, nice! I barely finish one big crater in that time!
Amature! At a height between 1.5 and 3 you can cover a lot of ground. Those are the recommended heights to be in when looking down.
But I agree that it is not enough. I just did my part on that planet. I think 3 hours per planet is more than enough of my share.
We need better tools!!
Have any barnacles been found in moons with Volcanism? There is only one moon here with no Volcanism
I'm seeing the CALIFORNIA LC-V C2-10 B1 barnacle just fine on the wave scanner. A bit sad that it drops large quantities of Indite and Cryolite, though, with nary a Meta Alloy in sight. Is this behaviour new?
