The single most annoying thing currently in ED is.....

Slow everything. Slow loading [...] right and left control panels, [...]
There is a fix for that. Disable UI Effects in the graphics options.

The bad performance and therefor ugly late terrain loading on planets in VR.
I'm complaining on a high level, I know.

Having to fly to all those different places getting the small fish in bounty that still makes a decent half million.

The Forum. Posts that twist reality to a poster's agenda. Posts that insult other Commanders for the choices they make. When I have to take breaks from playing, it's because of the threads I've seen here, and not anything in game.

Slow everything. Slow loading station boards, mission page, right and left control panels, maps, entering glide. Opening literally anything in the game feels like I have time to grab a sammich....why is everything so hellishly slow to load??

As for the mission stuff in game being slow, it's something we're checking into to get fixed.

As for general slowness, relax a bit - the game isn't meant to be a rush. :)

What about those who want easier NPCs becaues they have hit their skill cap?
Life's cruel. :p

In all seriousness though, I'd honestly recommend Frontier have a look at a way of capping a persons rank. For example, in Warframe, you don't get the super-duper-high end gear unless you can get through the Mastery ranks. Each step towards the next Mastery rank requires a test.

Now, I'm not saying to lock equipment and such; but I am suggesting the following:
First, each rank (for Trade/Combat*) from Competent (arguments could be made for Novice) onward is locked behind a mission (Fed ranking for ex). Passing the test means you rank up, and can progress further. If you cannot past the test, this clearly shows that you have -for the moment- reached your skill cap and this is where the second point comes in.

Second, the NPC difficulty is based on your rank, with a leeway between ranks. Meaning, as a Novice, you could encounter NPC's from Harmless to Expert; each with the difficulties their ranks provide, as well as adjusted bounties (if any). When in a wing with higher ranked CMDR's, the NPC difficulty will be a mixture of NPC's, ranging from one rank below the LOWEST ranked CMDR to one rank above the HIGHEST ranked CMDR in the wing (or perhaps the instance).

* Not sure how it would work for Exploration

For maximum entertainment take on multiple missions and things get really fun.
Many 'critical missions' updates roll in together with interdictions, and I have no chance of keeping up with what's going on or who's who, what goes where and who the president is ! Ha.

Getting told to deliver to a new station in a different system, then going there realising you need all that expensive and bulky scanning equipment to find the new station because it's 'unexplored'. Traders/couriers are not explorers. If they want you to take the goods to a new location they should supply the relevant data to find said location.

Appreciate the reply and glad to hear it's on the radar. No rush in game play :) just want things to open when I click them.

The completionist in me, brought about by severe ocd, wanting to explore every single system... In the galaxy.
... It's too big man, it's too biiiig.

Floating rocks/invisible terrain I keep crashing into within 100m of the surface. Haven't quite lost a ship but can't figure out the minimum graphics settings to be able to see terrain anymore.

The forum. It used to be fun, full of wonder and enthusiasm. Now its like a kindergarten full of tired, cranky toddlers.

I think you can see from the previous posts, the trade missions have some serious issues. Their not gamebreaking but they clearly cause for a lesser gaming experience. No harm in voicing your views, that after all is what the forum is for.

Since you used the word "annoying"...

Using the gal map and system map.

Gal: The flyout box blocks 1/4 of the screen unless you zoom out so it is 'relatively' small and you can now click on other stars...except now the ones you want to click on (nearby) are so grouped together that you can't see/pick them. Why isn't the flyout box always in the top/right or something like the rest of the info on the left hand side??

Sys: The flyout box and ( ) for the targeted body are, respectively, in the way and not on the targeted body. This leads to scrolling the sys map around to get the flyout box away from the bodies behind it, then trying to figure out if the body you're looking at is actually the one targeted because the ( ) isn't where it supposed to be. Then there's the mini game of trying, once you've managed to get it on the selected body, of trying to click on the 'plot route' icon without the game thinking you're trying to hover over/select something else.

A video would probably help, I'll post that later.

Wow thanks for commenting Brett.
Just to clarify, two main issues here, redirection and time 0.00 missions
Can we have an option to deliver as per original contract? And will we get rid of the ridonculous (sp on purpose) 0.00 mission?

Thank you for taking the time to show interest

The fact that the vast majority of stations in Elite Dangerous have the exact same faded "WELCOME" paint inside each hangar bay as you enter and depart it, down to every last little detail.

I get it's meant to show the station isn't all pristine and shiney and perfect (and I do love those stations, rare as they are), but when every single station has the exact same faded-WELCOME decal...well. Words like "immersion-breaking" and "annoying" come to mind.

Maybe I'll catch a picture and post it here in an edit later.
