Plea for Miners to move to Jaques Station start a new society

getting reports from lavecon that new human bubble around Jaques station will be supported by FD

Hurrah!

Well, this should make some people laugh...

2 weeks (buckyball racing while on a full time job) and I finally made it to Jaques.
256 tonnes and 16.7Ly jump range made it a proper challenge, but I made it.

Took some pictures, sold the goods, visited a few nearby planets and stars and a short while later, I thought I would get a nice screenshot outside the mail-slot with 'Jaques Station' printed on the front.
Here's me entering debug cam, lining myself up for a pretty one when the laser show starts.
By the time I get out of debug I'm already visiting the rebuy screen.

How many limpets do people need. I'd imagine if someone crazy enough were to bring a ship full of limpets, a lot of miners would be thankful.

I intend on coming out with somewhere around 150T of cargo.
Quite happy to bring out mining limpits and drop them off if the need is there?

The controller is what turns the limpet into a fueler, prospector or collector.

So you just need to bring limpets.

I'm heading back out at the moment so see you (depending on instancing) guys when you get there.

I've just started learning about these limpets (The Dangerous Games CG was my first ever attempt).
If I just lob up with limpets that is of some use out there? (After I drop them off to somebody in the same instance of course)

Yup. Miners need them for prospectors and collectors. The instance part is a little more tricky as you have guessed.

If I have a fuel transfer limpet controller (Just in case someone hits trouble), but have 192T of limpets, those limpets can still be dropped for Miners to use?

As meta alloys seem inefficent at repairing jacques any further than he has been so far.

We may need to look at the system info for highest import demand

So we need through whatever means possible now

I have recently left the bubble, carrying the following after having looked at the station's market demands yesterday:

• 2 Meta-Alloys, freshly picked from happy barnacles
• 3 CD-75 Kitten Brand Coffee, an Imperial favourite
• 20 Limpets
• 4 Food Cartridges
• 8 Synthetic Meat
• 17 Power Generators
• 52 Water Purifiers
• 1 Beer
• 1 Wine
• 4 Basic Medicines
• 16 Advanced Medicines

Total: 128 tonnes. The limpets should help the miners with the silver.
And today, it looks like the demand for machinery and food went down. Oh well, here's hoping there'll still be more needed by the time I get there. No idea about my ETA, but I'll be doing straight-line exploration until I get to Jaques.

I realised that limpets are limpets... I just wasn't sure that having, say, a fuel transfer controller onboard would make any difference to limpets carried in the vessel.
