See it this way: After three weeks of mining, flying your T-9 back to the bubble will be a relaxing chore, despite the turn rate.

But what comes to mining, i have done it since Elite was launched and find it one of the best relaxing chores around Elite universe.
Just me, my T-9 and thousands of rocks full of goodies. :)
But its not for everyone, i bet there will be dozens of cmdrs trying mining for the very first time at Jaq and after couple of runs quit, as it requires a bit of roleplaying to get your mood right..
If you do it only for the money, just forget it. Same as with exploration, you dont do it for the money.

Maybe a clean drive level 5 should help your turn rate. It did on my corvette :)

Good news! Jaques Station has Universal Cartographics and a Shipyard. You can also redeem bounties and pay fines!

I've heard the system that Jaques Station is in may have a pending lockdown and Civil Unrest state.

Given that a mining CG is still ongoing, it might be a really good idea to do some bounty hunting to nullify these pending states.

Sorry for the bump but i wanted to let you folks who subscribed to this thread know that the Colonia Citizens Network, a communications hub for folks who care about Jaques and perhaps want to form a new society to live out in Colonia has launched!

also there's a new-now-old CG that's out. A hauling CG to jaques for Titanium, Robotics, and Semiconductors.

Now I don't know what this means but I have to assume this is going to be a hi-tech outpost of some sort and once this Outpost and the 2nd CG that's soon ending is completed, we'll have 3 Stations.

With 3 stations, we'll have missions!

With 3 stations, we'll have BGS to play around with!

Now I reckon there are some of you out there who are tired. and you know what.

That's fair. Take a load off, you've earned your rest!
