Maybe a basic form of this telling us where to look on a planets surface?

on that note, another experiment I tried:
1. Go to Merope 5 C, Lat 0 degrees, Long 0 degrees
2. Land
3. Get out in the SRV
4. Drive on a heading of 315 degrees on the compass
Results: I found nothing of note.
i've seen plenty of binaries like this while playing the game. They always show the orbit lines of both (usually a circle within a circle). I can't get Merope 5 to show an orbit line at all, which is why I was so confused.
Hehehe, pot, kettle, black!
I think I've been focusing on the actual mystery for longer than you my dear colonel.
Haha it's OK I'm used to his ramblings after all this time.

Fix crash when calculating the tidal locking amount for a planet with exactly -180 axial tilt
Ozric, you actually have some intelligent comments once in a blue moon so you get a pass. The outburst of "my daddy is bigger than yours" that came out of nowhere though. Maybe you are just having a bad day. Calling another user's comments / posts / replies "ramblings" is bordering on a direct insult and could quite likely be a breach in the rules. Whatever the case I forgive you for crossing the line this time. Lets just continue your awesome long term focus mastery on this mystery.

Welcome to the joys of MeropeIf you use the orrery, the main orbit line that you see is that of the Barycenter for 5 and 6. If you zoom in as close as you can to 5 you will see that it is very slightly offset to the barycenter. I imagine that in the game it doesn't show the orbit line of 5 as it is too close to the barycenter to be visible.
- Reduced the timing interval on the probe to bring the total transmission down to just over 6 mins

E.g. barnacles are in planets, and even if they are related to the UA/UP they might not necessarily be connected to 'the mystery', so I'd say lets not turn that into a conclusion.
