This particular bug has been apparent since at *least* 2.3, if not the iteration before that one. It's been noted numerous times by players in the Issue Council.
And yet here it is, appearing like clockwork in 2.5 and confusing the hell out of the players who witness it (look at the chat exchange in the image!).
Oh, I'm sure that someone will be along to tell me that my posts are not helpful and pointless, because this is the "PTU!", a "test" universe and all of these things are perfectly *normal*....

Nah... In my case my parents were vaguely religious but were so Church of England that they didn't indoctrinate their kids to it.
EDIT: And I'm becoming more atheist the more that I learn about, well, anything/everything/beer.

Star Citizen is still coming up the ranks in terms of notoriety, whille the money they got sure got them some headlines its their continuous push in both scope and fidelity that steals the show. This next few days should showcase clearly how big that scope and fidelity is. Bring on atmospheric planetary landings and Star Marine!

What's funny to me is I don't own SC and frankly have no interest in it as I know the history of it and Roberts.

I think it's just one of those things a certain type of person uses on the web unironically whenever they are trying to shut down someone else's argument which has now been turned into a joke.
It's probably just a coincidence that a lot of those type of people seem to be CIG fans.

*Ahem* BTW JohnMice, it appears as though you didn't see the CIG Twitch stream earlier today (or received the memo from CIG's headquarters). Disco Lando himself stated that there will be NO Star Marine featured at Gamescom.
Now I'll stand here and watch you contort yourself into a pretzel trying to make an excuse for that.

I think kts the right thing to do, if backers willingly pledged all that money to them they should try and make something really special and not just Wing Comander and Feeelancer redux with better graphics.
That's a different thing dude. We're not talking about whether or not they're doing a big, ambitious game, we're talking about whether they should keep expanding the scope.

The "you don't understand xxxx" joke and it's numerous variants originated from backers on the RSI forum and other places discussing Star Citizen on the 'net rebuffing people who started to see signs of trouble with the project with the phrase "You just don't understand game development!".
And the rest has been history as CIG's struggles continued to mount and the game became less able to meet the expectations/dreams of Roberts and the more fervent backers.
