Cmon guys. That rover is clearly influenced nigh on directly from the APC out of Aliens. Looks good though.

Great to see some recognition in SC towards ED, I would also like to see some of the nice concept art in SC implemented in ED Like the asteroid hangar.

Well CIG are just as truthful as Hillary Clinton, so I'd just wait and see thank you very much.
Probably in-engine planetary landings, with a playable demo. Of course Star Marine was in-engine too and it isn't released yet, so there's no guarantee that landings will be integrated any time soon.
Looks like the only thing that is new are more ships and posters to buy. When you start the launcher it should take you straight to the store, it's the only thing they keep working flawlessly.
regarding goons and what not...... Last time i looked, SC was going to have a PvE slider which would work in hi sec space, but in lawless space would be ignored so you would be in elites equivalent of "open" if in lawless space.
however someone else has told me that more recently CIG have talked about PvE servers where you can meet no one if you choose, or just a specific set of players if you want. is this latter part true? if so for me that is fab news.
I bought into SC knowing about the slider and knowing that parts of the game i would be forced to play which whoever the game puts me in with, so i am not going to go over their and whine about it..... I bought it with my eyes open and more fool me if i have an issue with it.
that being said, IF CIG had choosed to add different match making options like Elite has, this game will have gone from an "ok, worth the money for S42 and everything else a bonus" to, potentially my 2nd favourite game (next to ED of course

PVE Slider was officially nixed earlier this year. They couldn't figure out a way to make it work with Multi-crew. What if you have your slider set to 0, but the guy sitting in the chair next to you has it set to 100%. No word on what, if anything, would replace it yet.
Ever seen the email exchanges with certain folks? It's very clear that what they say behind close doors and not in official press materials is something else entirely. Usually along the lines of: "Yeah, but we'll have that too...and it will be better! Just you wait and see!"
We're certainly doing the waiting bit...haven't seen much as of yet.
Said no one ever who tried to drive one in Mass Effect....
