Lets sum up:

We are looking for a system with a single M-class star with "friend who always lies",
and in this system we need to search on a rocky planet at latidude 34 near a binary pulse...

*sigh* I jokingly predicted that the 28th's event would be ruined by instancing, never thinking FD had the stupidity to make something like this rely on open or especially their instancing that has had no work whatsoever.

I now feel bad for joking about it. This is terrible.

Any sense of mystery of involvement in one is straight out the window. It's so broken and the devs won't even bother to say a word to straighten out what is and isn't working.

Disgraceful.

I mean I'm fine, I'm not overly upset. Just worried everyone has seen the name and gone ''Yep that's definitely it'', despite the lack of consistency. I'm happy for people to do so, just want people to be cautious.

Guys, Kohl talked about a single M star or something, now Dillon talked about a Pulsar and maybe Granger will say something else about other star, perhaps that is what Kohl meant when he said that one of his friends always lies.

I think it was Adam that said: there will be multiple opportunities to get the clues, and the message said th explorer goes everyday at 3pm, so don't expect it to finish today.

Hmm, I'm sure you know, but for the benefit of others then:

GMT: Greenwich Mean Time
==
UTC: Universal Time Coordinated
==
Zulu time

Three names for the same thing.
BST: British Summer Time = GMT/UTC +1 = Alpha time
CEST: Central European Summer Time = GMT/UTC +2 = Bravo time

And so on.

In game time is called Galactic Mean Time (Not sure if this is official from FD).
This is equal to GMT/UTC/Zulu except that the year is 3302. In game time does not change with seasons, so no summer/winter time in game.

I have a gut feeling Tobacco Dillon is legit.

After the broadcast they went totally silent but hung around.

I am also (85%) sure they were harmless, which ties in with Kohl's "out of game" rating.

Heh 85% yeah I know sorry, I didn't twig at the time. Was looking at Asps for a Grainger.

Not only that but there appears to be an inconsistency with the 'Mission Message' that Kohl was able to deliver, but Dillon was not?

If this really is the next piece of the puzzle then the inconsistencies are a bit bleh. I get that it's a mystery but it's also a game. Maybe I'm just frustrated.

Perhaps an atempt to keep Barry Trotter and his merry men from killing this one before the message could be delivered. I did have to laugh at his frantic trolling attempts in the middle of that chat, if anybody had even a scrap of doubt as to just how pathetic an individual you're dealing with there, I'd think that removes it.
