I'm rich!

You on a low salt diet by any chance? ;)

It does kinda catch on when you jump around social media a lot, from "tears", to "salty tears", to just "salt" now.
In effect it's a conversation killer. Opinions are boiled down to (pardon the pun) an imaginary motivatior. Tears, salt is just as derogatory and dismissive as telling peole they're cowards for hiding in solo. So that moral highground has been well and truly abandonned.

It's a display of intelectual bancrupty. And the eagerness with which it is used in this community surprises me. I was under the impression it belonged to a sad few with certain characteristics. Seems I was wrong and need to work on my pseudo psycho babble.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have an 28 mil CG reward to secure :)

Be a dear and bring me back some salt please.

Aware of that. Which is why I phrased my reply to cover both options :p

It's all in the tone man.

Morai was also my first CG, and while sadly I slipped from the Top 10% into the top 25% because the event finished while I was at work, I am still quite satisfied with my final payout.

Though I still have no idea what the +global bonus portion proved to be.

I would point out however, my joining this CG was entirely by accident. I was reading it, but hadn't meant to sign up. Likewise, I was only browsing ships when I found myself buying a Type-7 for this.
Ugh, I almost felt sick, because 17m was most of my credits at the time.

Now I'm the very pleased owner of an Orca and a Fer de Lance, and still have far more credits than I started with - and a big Type-7 to boot, so I really can't complain at all.

Though I do have to ask - what Genius thought Class 4 Sensors and a Class 3 fuel tank on an FDL was a good idea? Please do not breed.

Goddamit, I spent the time this CG was active griding Sothis for a paltry 20mill per hour.

What is the Galaxy coming to when even the Sothis grinders feel cheated.

Im REALLY glad I didnt participate - I would hate to get 64 Million Credits just like that - once there is nothing to strive for there is no ED game. Admittedly there are other minor things like reputation to go for or Elite rank but one of the main things that provides the pull to keep playing is the pursuit of money and once thats gone ... Yeah I think I would have to give that all away. Not to mention you will miss progressing through some of the best ships in the game like the Viper and the Cobra if you immediately go for a cutter or something. There is no pleasure there being given loads of money on a plate, for me.

I am happy with working my butt off around the Pleiades for £1m a night - but they really need more ships between the Asp and the other higher ships - there is presently a massive void there. I dont mind working my way up to my next ship but if you dont want a trader what can you go for between Asp and Python?

The pursuit of credits never pulled me in, in fact, it drove me out. I hate it.. though I suspect it has more to do with a lack of in-game mechanics.

Nothing to do, eh? I can't get a Cutter on 64m credits... just saying. ;)

The New grind is engineers, not credits. You cant do much against an enginereed fdl, even though you had an A rated corvette (without engineers).

I think an enginereed Viper could do It too lol

Means you can buy and outfit the ship you want most. Flying your favourite space ship is roughly 90% of ED :)
Still several hundred million and about a dozen ranks short, but getting there. ^^
First stop is the Courier. Busy using my Asp right now to build up that rep. Then the Clipper.. then the Cutter.. and then .. (I don't want to think this far because I have no idea what to do after it).

FD, can we get more CGs like this? Preferably some pew pew related ones, pretty please?

Then my good man it's time to become a Dr...

Yep - this CG was HUGELY profitable. That 69 mill cr got me into my AspE, which I'm currently using as my mission runner with an eye toward refitting for exploration. But I can buy any class of module I wand, and have the funds to cover re-buys (deflect!) if I get destroyed.

221million here :D

Time to start battlefitting this 'conda :)
Hi, I'm an exiled Nigerian prin-ah, exiled Martian prince that has need of funding for his latest endeavour, "The Inter-galactic Bank of Martian Successor-ism" that helps orphaned SRVs (Smurf Relocation Volunteers) in need. All we require is just a very small donation of 100 million to the cause.... of Martian Successor.

:D

I'm sure the credits earned by Commanders like myself in this CG won't effect the gameplay of those who didn't participate.
I don't know, I've heard reports that every time someone that isn't me earns 1 million credits a single grain of salt is brought into existence in the galaxy. Some CMDRs are reporting their throttles unable to move because of excessive salt build up gumming up the sensitive electronics.
