The salt is real over this CG. Sad really. Nobody can be happy for anyone else. It's all about them and how it (doesn't actually) affect their game play.

I agree anybody using salt or salty tears in a serious way has lost all credibility of being able to have a normal conversation. In that way it's a conversation killer.

How's this fer a good analogy?
In the preparation for war, the controlling head of state may shower his people with gifts, thereby giving them the tools needed to fight for them. The threads on the forum warning explorers to "be prepared to adapt" and to the comical advice to ignore certain areas, or else...!
Change is coming for all, while we squabble over the specifics of what is changing. With all that money floating around now, there will be many more than usual behind the walls as it were doing their thing in ships they would otherwise have had to grind months for which should keep the pew pew brigade happy fer a bit until they whittle those totals down a bit.
Maybe it's just tin foil hat stuff and a genuine mistake was made and it's just a coincidence...but ye do have to wonder where this might be leading to when yer out in the black.
Food fer thought...but I honestly couldn't care less if some guys made it big...happy days. I didn't but then I also couldn't care less about that either...I already have enough for the right here and now and I'm not well known fer plans past thinking it's 2 fer 1 night pizza time...after that it's...whatever ^^

Not sure why everybody who thinks thats not good should now be salty. That players have the money I don't care, but a good game needs some balance, even singleplayer rpgs need some balance in how quick you get money. I do think thats important for a game, but maybe I'm weird

I agree that it's important for games to have consistency in these matters. I'd really appreciate it if FD could make a final decision on whether this CG should be the norm or whether the other CGs we see should and to please fix the mission boards and the rep-based payouts. In the meantime I'd rather embrace the silliness of the situation and bask in the sense of 'happiness' those who did the CG are experiencing and expressing in this thread

All who are complaining how it was too much or too easy for those who did get the big one in this CG SHOULD post how much they currently already have.... probably all in the Billions/multiple ships and don't want anyone else near their lofty position.
I had ONE ship, I continually ground away - and yes in this CG too - trading and hauling with my Drop-ship (GREAT Mid-class SHIP by the way, highly recommend it for trading, can defend itself well - or run away ) and I happily accepted the full reward I was entitled to under the rules of the game, I reached 25%, and am pleased with it! Ha! Finally can get my Python back! Cheers! --- DK

On a real side note, now that I've acquired and A rated my anaconda (yay) I've just realised how much I'm going to miss using a taxi once fleet movements are installed. I'm in a little hauler going back for my Python now and it's such a cute and risky ship to flying in. No matter. Anaconda!
