I think if there was meaningful consequences and downsides to this behaviour a lot of these lads would shrivel up and disappear.
Urban dictionary is fairly similar to a wiki - anyone can add a definition.
When definitions are, obviously, not universally agreed, citing subjectively dubious sources would not seem to advance the case for acceptance of one or other definition.
Who is in a position to tell the person on the receiving end of an "interaction" how they are supposed to feel about it?
Well I thought I would pop into open at the Community Goal station to see how things have progressed. Just going out of the station I was being rammed from behind. Of course I was in my Anaconda, so I'm sure I was a big target. It has armor and shields so it will take the beating, I was also going slow (speed limit slow, not really slow). The moment I'm out of the station, I'm attacked by several ships. I do an all stop, pop a shield cell, and look around. Guess nothing has really changed much in open at all. So I requested to dock, turned on the docking computer and watched as they continued to attack. Of course I had nothing in my cargo yet so all this role play stuff is bunk.
I really don't understand why the need for people to log into a game and just simply try to ruin other people's game. Back to solo again, nothing to see here.
You could call it "what does random player killing add to the game?" and have a discussion about that. But my intention was to actually stop it. This point is for you. Have a rep
Too much of a click-bait I guessHowever, how should I named the title if not like this?
- You are a known combat logger (once is enough)
I love unbiased journalism!
..'you were confused with another player & blown up by accident' - Oh that's okay then, as long as it's a valid reason, I don't know what I was complaining about!
CK? Stick to blowing things up & leave the thinking to others!![]()
Seriously? I've been hanging around at the station for hours over the past few days, met some cool cmdrs, had some funny conversations. Even danced with other bounty hunters at a few res sites and not seen anything like this. You must have incredible bad luck.
The only ships I've ever seen combat log were players who interdicted me. I've never seen an NPC combat log ;-)
This discussion is so vain. In the end anarchy is the dominant force. Some people try to bring some order to it all - but it's theire view of order. In fact that order only gets dominant if these people succeed in perusading a big crowd of people to share theire view. Still it will only be a set of bleives shared by a community of like minded people. The universe still remains free of theire rules and believes.
I think this is refelcted by this game. Do what thou wilt, is all the law - and live by the consequences.
Player harassment rules are the only rules that are existent regarding this discussion. Everything elese are pipe-dreams or community efforts, that solidify some pipedream sowewhat.
LoL. True. But sometimes I think this quote is fitting.Crowley was a psychopath. Probably not the best line to use in an argument in a video game.
This isnt the universe. This is a product into which people have invested a large sum of time and money. If they dont get what they think they paid for, then the game will fail.
"Not my words, Carol. The words of Top Gear Magazine."It is not my definition. It is the definition of the Elite Wiki.
However, how should I named the title if not like this?
