LOL, to me exactly the opposite. How about.
Elite: 1337
or
Elite: Universe
I don't know Dangerous just sounds kind of corny to me.
Elite: Universe sounds no better than Elite: 1337, and the latter one could be the definition of corny.

Exactly!I do not think the choice of dangerous, is complicated to explain. This is simply a galaxy dangerous and hard. It announces to the player, where he puts the feet by buying the game
Elite IV: "We waited 20 years for this, you'd damn well better get it right"
(just kidding, Elite: Not-quite-deadly is fine)
Nah, too limited.How about...
Elite: Factions
Given how prominent the factional elements are and how much it seems that the factional interplay is likely to be embedded within the missions.
Ditto.I kinda like Elite: Dangerous (regardless of how the name came about).
LOL, to me exactly the opposite.

Nah, too limited.
The name's been Elite: Dangerous so long that there's no point in changing it. It would be like if Supermarine Spitfire had been renamed Supermarine Britton when mark V was introduced...
Ditto.
How about,
Elite: Anarchy
Seems a bit appropriate at the moment and uses a term in the original game as well.![]()
<opinion>It ain't broken, don't try to fix it!</opinion>Mostly Elite?
If you use the correct abbreviation - E: D - then yes.Is the abbreviation any good?
