Don't panic - we have refactored lulz into 64bit - we can now handle 18quintillion Star Citizen lulz, but can't guarantee each one will feel particularly unique or special. This is no time for a lulzbucket, a lulztanker is of necessity!

In other words, it does not contain the clip in question.
So you're going to stop doing that, then? Adding a smiley at the end does not mean that your abuse and trolls suddenly becomes something else.
That was how it picked up its initial massive following, but it is not what made it become a genre-defining market behemoth. That part was due to its refined, compelling, and almost addicting gameplay loop; its ease of access; its usability; and its community building.
Star Citizen has none of that. It has some very ancient history, but that's as niche group as they come and they haven't exactly been welcoming and friendly. In fact, the entire game is founded on being the exact opposite of the things that made WoW successful: a throwback to something that was never all that popular, catering specifically to the tiny group that liked those games anyway.
That will just be the same people buying a second copy. It does not translate into more customers.
How does the "clip in question" matter when you can clearly see the same event unfold but from different angles [???]

So WoW started it about 100k players then it kept picking momentum because of how addictive it was, a lot of players that never played mmos jumped the wagon and the rest is history. I believe something similar will happen with Star Citizen , just because of the buzz that it's (limited) gameplay already offers.
It doesn't contain the clip where at the end the game crashed because it was viewed from a completely totally different computer. Strange how that works huh?
Because you made comments purportedly based on the exact same clip, but was actually commenting on a different one. You were doing the exact same thing as you were accusing others of doing. How does the "clip in question" matter when you can clearly see the same event unfold from the same angles [???]
…and there's nothing to suggest that Star Citizen would be able to do the same since it has exactly zero of the components that made WoW such a hit. It does not have the IP history and recognition; it does not have the long-established and large community; it does not have the universal appeal or the gameplay that promotes getting involved with those affected by that appeal; it does not have any kind of discernible (much less rewarding) gameplay loop; it does not have the light requirements nor the UX that makes it accessible. Instead, it is deliberately and specifically designed to appeal to a very non-casual and niche crowd. So WoW started it about 100k players then it kept picking momentum because of how addictive it was, a lot of players that never played mmos jumped the wagon and the rest is history.
If it were the norm, it wouldn't be newsworthy. The reason you get fewer hits for "game is on schedule" is because that's what's supposed to happen so no one reports on it, not because it's the exception.Just 5 minutes of GoogleFU and you can find multiple examples of games with troubled development. It's the norm not the exception.
I know were that's coming from but no I don't have any major criticism in relation to the development besides some miscommunication at some stages. The main complaints. Delays & Bugs is all normal at this stage of game development. Just 5 minutes of GoogleFU and you can find multiple examples of games with troubled development. It's the norm not the exception.

You then went on to call them insane, toxic, and abusive.
I can get the original clip if you want, there is NO CRASHING.
Please do so.
I can get the original clip if you want, there is NO CRASHING. That was a montage made by some trolls.
A montage is several different clips pieced together to show an overarching development. What was shown was a pure clip, maybe it had the DX crash tacked on the end... but considering how SC is constantly crashing it is completely. Not to mention that the ship is bouncing about like it's got space hydraulics which happens all the time anyway so even if it doesn't crash at the end... the craptacular behavior is still par for the course of SC.
Why are the SC faithful so... devoted... that they need to constantly defend the terrible state the game is in but that it will be SO MUCH BETTER in years, keeping in mind it was supposed to be mind blowing at GamesCom and that failed - in 2015 - and again in 2016 - and...., that they keep going on replying to threads defending it thinking that at some point they'll be proven right and.... CR will bless with a million in game credits for their devotion? Bequeath them a free Idris?
It's bordering on lunacy what some of the fanatics are doing. There is absolutely a psychological behavioral test that could (should?) be conducted on the SC faithful. I bet it would show something of some of the gaming community in general, like the ones that believe so much in a game that when it is delayed the developer gets death threats, and then on the opposite side of the spectrum when it is delayed the head developer gets nothing but love, praise and support. It's odd to say the least.
Lies, that last image of the CryEngine crash is completely fake. Just the same tactics of lies and deceptiveness they do to engage a fud campaign against everything Star Citizen. This is their modus operandi all around, that's why only very few take them serious.
