Do I need to remind you that the owner of this company and forum is a avid supporter of both Chris Roberts and Star Citizen?

The sort of posts that Orlando does in that example just reinforces the negativity towards the project and is self defeating.

I'm not sure if any of them have finally worked that out.

It goes like this;

Someone (sometimes me) make a lame joke/pith taking comment.

Most people would see it for what it was and disregard.

Then megafan/shill enters stage left and makes some ludicrous comment about saving PC gaming/Visions or some other patently obvious .

This triggers some people who go into serious post mode and really ram the point home with a mini essay and supporting links and stuff.

The original throw away pith taking comment suddenly doesn't look so silly anymore as lots more unknown info (especially to me) is suddenly revealed.

And round it goes.

I keep thinking they must figure it out sooner or later but no - it seems..

A cursory look anywhere Space Game related will provide thousands upon thousands of examples. SC itself is either fake, or lies or anything other then what it is...unreleased.

A cursory look anywhere, is not a good sign. Provide me with facts and examples. Because as i continue to see them provide me with builds and updated game play and releases, as they are released. Something they stated they would do from the beginning. I don't see any lies or fakery when i'm actually playing it. You don't load up, move around and play lies.

HAHAHAHA!! Right, lets see how they do with trying to get a system that works with the countless accents and brouges that exist shall we? Yeah, that's just not going to work at all. At best everyone will be pulling their 'dump' face when talking in anything other than either Queens English or Cali American, there are very good reasons why no one else has bothered trying this.

It's not the kind of VoIP you think it is. It's something that is directly connect to the character animations, it's similar to the webcam rig system twitch users apply. When they don't want to show their faces.

But we are discussing the game - just not in a way that you approve of.

I mean I understand the arguing on the internet thing - which is a lot of what this is about - but why does it matter so much to you that someone doesn't like what you like?

None of this changes the state of SC/SQ42 in any way - if it's going to succeed then a handful of people on an unrelated forum can't change that. If on the other hand it's going to fail - or more likely - end up being a bit mediocre (having missed it's window of opportunity to impress by years) nothing any of us says will change that either.

So what's the problem?

Like it all you want Orlando no one minds that. Your ramming it's "brilliance" and all that jazz down people's throats with your religious zeal, 90% of it all based on nothing but faith and jpegs. The rest of us here have either played it and found it utter unprogressive rubbish and/or have no faith in CR and his strange way of getting this game out mostly based on his very suspect track record.

We don't get up Rolan about his obvious desire for this game you'll notice. It's just the likes of you and John mice and the others that get banned round here.
