Come on, admit it. You wouldn't have posted if you thought it wasn't fun...
Don't put words in other people's mouths.

It was also educational. I learned about some of your motivations, too.
Highly unlikely since everything you suggested others have told you was a complete fabrication on your part.

Come on guys, you must admit that it was fun for all of us.
And for once in a lifetime, i managed to make you discuss about game features and content, instead of the usual "CR is <insert insult here>" posts. [smile]

Oh you roister-doister! You were just joshing us all along... What a bally wheeze :) Well played, Sir!

Is that what you are saying?

But i manage to make you guys talk about which features you are looking forward, some of you even talked constructively about why the developmente path they are going through may not be the most optimum one... it was a great step forward.

@Tuub t Tute. Of course not, i say that you guys showed that you can actually have interesting discussions about the game without resorting to the usual insults towards CR.

Don't waste your time on this thread, toxic users here will only try to annoy the ones who don't share their hate. I'm going back to the exploration subforum, the people there are actually mature.

Welcome back from the exploration subforum, oh wait, you never left.

The only thing you've dicussed is the missing VR and how it's already in the game, and it will be released soon ala Star Marine 2.0 (oh and how minimum viable product = full release, that was a blast). Am I being too optimistic or pessimistic by your own estimation?

Oh don't try and put on the "Oh come on guys, it was only a joke" act to cover up the fact that your arguments amounted to a load of baseless "facts" and your own ignorance of how game development worked (your shocking lack of knowledge regarding the implementation of VR tech into Star Citizen was most telling).

You got found out by people who are more knowledgeable about the way development works in the games industry and related sectors, more than you'll *ever* have the ability to.

The fact that you come back on top here and can't have the good grace to acknowledge your own stunning lack of forethought and self-awareness is, quite aptly, very fitting for you.

But please, do go on posting ignorant missives on here for all to see. I'm sure more folks on this forum appreciate your own brand of unintended comedic relief with the lack of any real progress on Star Citizen to see or actively talk about.

But i manage to make you guys talk about which features you are looking forward
No. You see, that was just part of the strawman nonsense you drew up — you're confusing your own supposed success with a fallacious argument you conjured up because people demonstrated you had no idea what you were talking about.

some of you even talked constructively about why the developmente path they are going through may not be the most optimum one.
You mean like we've always done except for the times when someone has come along to try to drag the thread off-topic?

It was a good effort, thread actually was about game mechanics for a change.

+1 Rep

No, i mean like it wasn't done since the Star Citizen thread v3.

Chill down guys(in general), you dont have to attack me.

So you mean like we've always done except for the times when someone has come along to try to drag the thread off-topic?

Just so you get the point: this response will not change no matter how much you try your hand at yet another example of history revisionism or altering what other people say. The simple fact of the matter is that you've been wrong in everything you've tried to say in the last couple of pages, and now in your attempt to gloss over this fact, you keep making yourself even more wrong in how you recontextualise the point of your being wrong.

Nope, i mean like it wasnt done since a year ago. That is, without insults, recurrent bad jokes, unfounded theories etc... For once, someone could actually read the thread and get a (tiny) bit of useful info without feeling the need to run away as far as possible and as fast as possible. And that was a nice step forward. It's sad that you don't agree.

Also, how is it that you call "off topic" to random people trying to discuss against the general negativity here with a bit of positive arguments about the game? How is that dragging the thread off topic? I would say it's the complete opposite, that is dragging the thread back on topic.
(i say random people because they usually land here, try to discuss, understand what's going on and then quickly leave for never coming back)

…before you tried to drag the thread off-topic with your insults, bad jokes, unfounded theories, and general ignorance of the topic being discussed? So pretty much like we've always done.

There's always useful info; some people just refuse to accept it because it doesn't jive with the alternate history they try to construct for themselves. Like Chris, you didn't actually bring anything new to the game — you were just more persistently and consistently wrong than most.

I must admit that I've found this thread highly entertaining, and I'm happy to thank all the contributors.

I might not have felt so amused, though, if I'd sunk any money into this venture. There's been a lot of money invested. I hope it all works out well in the end for everyone involved.

Are you accusing me of dragging the thread off topic? That is funny, because i dragged it ON topic for once in a long time.
Yes there is always useful info, you "only" have to search for it hidden among a quintillion insults, bad jokes, unfounded theories and general ignorance. Easy job, no doubt!

EDIT: I see what you're trying to do here with your aggressivenes, but even if you insult me, i wont bite that bait. You're being too obvious.

Anyone know when 2.6 is getting released?

Anyone think it will finally have the superior cover and vault features from the Ill-Advised sorry, -Fonic) demo?

Anyone? Bueller?...

If you can +1 rep a guy for basically talking a load of nonsense... Well actually that isn't really a surprise because you yourself are rather *expert* at the same thing.

Also, as Tippis above pointed out, most of the folks here *already* discuss the game mechanics (what little there is to show) in Star Citizen and how for the most part, those mechanics are the bare minimum of what is required for a project of this apparent size, scope and (ever growing) budget. And even then, those mechanics barely work or function as intended.

It's only when posters like yourself and Hi-Ban come along that the thread tends to get dragged into a endless loop of claim and counter-claim about some usually irrelevant tangent that you are happy to string along for as long as you can, just so that the bad stuff being said about Star Citizen/CIG/Roberts/etc gets pushed back down the posting history.

Latest rumors said it was coming this month. But rumors are rumors, so it's better to wait for some official statement about it.
